Absolutely disgusted by handling of our order which was missed and eventually after waiting for 2 hours, it has been cancelled.

Pls do not visit this place at all.

My experience at Darbar Canberra was exceptional. The quality of the food, atmosphere and service met the highest standards and am definitely planning on visiting again. Even though the time waited for the food to arrive was short, there was absolutely no compromise in taste, the Apollo fish and chicken biriyani stood out to me the most. Overall, I can confidently say Darbar was the best experience in terms of Indian restaurants throughout Canberra.

Food was very ordinary, paneer tikka and ghee dosa was good but all other dishes we ordered were bland. The quality does mot match with the price. The railway goat curry was terrible, or had only bones and fat

Have been waiting for 2 hours for the food to be made and delivered. Refused to cancel order after 2 hours so I could order from somewhere else.

We visited Darbar with family for dinner. The food was delicious, specially the darbar chat. The staff and the service was awesome, I always recommend this restaurant.

Great ambience, excellent service and the food is the best, Hyderabadi Dum Biryani top notch, being Monday all tables were filled with customers, we entered the restaurant around 8: 30 with out any booking, being only waitress, the service provided was the best, very polite staff, will rate 5 star for Food, Service and the Ambience.

I ordered goat curry through DoorDash. What arrived was mostly bits of bone and few bits of meat in a curry soup. It was disgusting. I was charged $25 for a $2 meal! Totally ripped off. I was very angry and disappointed. I have used Darbar before and been quite satisfied, but this time I feel taken advantage of. I will NEVER eat at Darbar again and I'll be sure to warn my friends and family

Very low quality food served in this restaurant it’s expensive And portion is very small and I ordered couple of things mainly biryani which is not up to the mark and very cold and only coloured rice served. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

Been there twice. It was too busy and only one girl named Alisha was handling everything alone and managed well. Second time it was sm1 named sabita working alone and did well. I must say the staff has been trained well in terms of guest hospitality.

Loved the crispy cut chilli pakoda and paneer but daal makhni was too bland. Family dosa and masala dosa was awesome and loved the red chutney that asked for more, but I could finish family dosa all by myself even after having entree so size should be increased like of proper family. Would definitely come back to try more dosas and curries.

Ordered goat curry and Karahi paneer with naan and green salad. Only naan were good, rest were a let down. Goat curry was just average but karahi paneer was not Karahi, it was like cashewy and creamy. Both the curries were like cold and not heated enough. Also, what salad is served sans tomatoes!

Best restaurant in Canberra …paneer tikka masala, cut mirchi, chicken biryani…mango lassi is so good.would recommend to revive your taste buds with Indian good.will come back anytime

I ordered the chicken 65 biriyani. I expected more to be honest, and it really could be better.

Got a Paneer starter, Egg Biryani and Mutton Biryani. Was not a fan of starter. But Biryani was. Had food from here few times. Overall experience was good compared to other restaurants in Canberra. Little on expensive side though.

Best indian food in the town espicially biryanis, very authentic. Highly recommend Darbar.
