Common Grounds has certainly helped to liven up the Gowrie shops over the past couple of years.for our last visit we were served an enjoyable light meal for lunch (beef burger for me) which was most enjoyable.the only sad part was looking at the cake display, knowing I wouldn't be taking home that rather large lamington that was staring me down.

Choice of table inside or our, generous food servings and delicious, reasonably priced and fairly quick to serve as fully booked. Very clean. Friendly staff. I wasn't told at booking that strictly 1 hour limit, large coffee requested was actually a small.latte size. Some of people in our group would prefer bread other than sourdough. I loved it, I'll go back. Dogs welcome at outside tables.

Super welcoming for doggos and their hoomans. In addition to a bowl of water, the nice lady offered a treat when she noticed that the doggo was nervous about the new environment.

Pretty good bacon and egg roll, nice and generous helping of bacon. Slightly above the average price of a bacon and egg roll but by no means outrageous. Staff were very friendly and happy for us to split the bill 6 ways.

Very nice cafe. Good food and coffee without being wanky. Almost eaten the whole menu and it's all delicious so don't worry too much about what you order.

Great coffee. On the day we visited it was 40°c outside and the din inside was too loud for us. Outside would be great in cooler weather.

Very ordinary. Nothing special. Too noisy to hear anything. As a result my order was wrong. Only go if waiting for script at chemist

The food was delicious (highly recommend the chicken ceaser wrap), the staff was friendly and it was well organised.

Everything was great, service, coffee & food. The fact that they used fresh avocado (not from a tube) & cherry tomatoes in my meal was amazing and delicious. Great work guys.

Be very careful of the $6.00 milkshake. It is only 450 ml and served in a mason jar. Four mouthfulls and it's all gone.

Reasonably priced, well cooked and tasty food with staff who are friendly, helpful and accommodating. The coffee is pretty damned good, too - and that's from my wife who's particular about coffee.

It's a pity I don't live closer as this place would quickly become my regular.

Breakfast til 11: 30am, yeah nah. They give us breaky menus to then take them when we order from it at only 11: 15am. Rather disappointed. Tables are awkward with these weirdly placed metal supports and chairs noisy on the floor, the place is run down and the staff are easily distracted. The meals were not bad, but this is the second time I've been and similar results in service and experience. Not appealing and the last visit from me.

I've been here twice now, and both times I was very happy with the menu and the atmosphere. Their menu is not overly fancy, and the food is very hearty and filling. The service is good and the coffee is good, too.

Tasty coffee. Food good, but prices a tad high. Monday to Wednesday closing at 3pm. 4pm on other days. Front and back outdoor areas, plus inside too. Very popular.
