Great food and coffee, lovely location, always busy but not to long of a wait. Kids park across the road (fully enclosed).

Lovely staff, fast service, fantastic (!) coffee in a lovely area. I'm a vegetarian and they had lots of options for me, which is always great:)

Our favourite local cafe and has amazing (Campos) coffee which is delicious.
The staff are really friendly and helpful although be warned that at times they get insanely busy and there can be a wait on the coffee - its worth whatever wait is necessary ;-)
I tend to have plain old poached eggs on toast every time which are perfectly cooked. My family have tried all the many different menu items and love the flavours. The french toast & taro pancakes have been firm favourites.

Great place that is under new management. Food and coffee is still fantastic. Service seems like it could do with a little fine tuning. There is a lot of noise inside. The back outdoor area is comfortable and warm. Dog and kid friendly cafe

Good food, friendly service, reasonable prices, pleasant courtyard setting. Overall a nice suburban restaurant.

Food and coffee were nice, but came out separately at different times.

Ordered a milkshake. We were almost done with our food and I came in to ask where it was, got told "It's on its way. "

Finished our food. I walked in and said we'd finished our food and still hadn't gotten the milkshake, waiter just stared at me. Got handed the milkshake.

It was a subpar milkshake.

We had a delightful dinner.the food was terrific - fresh ingredients with ample portions. Pizzas were great value as were the other dishes. Also the sides, especially the salad. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely dine there again. Highly recommended.

I loved having breakfast at this cafe on a recent visit to Canberra. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The coffee was excellent and so were the friendly staff. I'll be back next time I visit. Thanks Common Grounds!

Great food & coffee, generally nice servers. The only issue we had was continuously being asked if we where ready to order in a short period of time, making it obvious they where wanting quick table turn arounds.

It seems as though the ownership has changed hands from a few months ago. The food and service has markedly deteriorated. Both our dishes were served with partially cooked meat and the coffee was burnt. Service was slow and the waiters kept asking if we'd order for at least 5 times after we'd actually ordered.

So disappointed that a licensed Service Dog was directed sit outside like a normal pet. Check the rules. That's illegal. We just won't ever return but wanted to warn others with service animals that you are apparently not welcome here.

My strong long black coffee was absolutely delicious. Fabulous waiter and service. Very reasonably priced. Good snack menu. Great food. Quality table and chairs.

Great place to have breakfast, good coffee, but get in quick.the place fills up.tells you a lot.

Had a lovley breakfast today in the back of this little place.only reason for the lack of star No 5 was no acidity in the hollandaise sauce (I love lemon but that's just me, need a bit to cut through the richness) BUT 5* to chef for actually making his own sauce. 9/10 places these days use packet and its horrible.
And for this.chef, we will see you again:)

Delicious food, quick service, online ordering was the slowest process but saved missing out because I forgot my mask

Had breakfast here the other day, we had to chase up one dish as it didn't arrive with the other food however it was brought out promptly and staff were incredible. Food was amazing and we will be returning!

I Have enjoyed the meals here for a few years now and enjoy going there with family and friends, however today I couldnt let it go, I asked for the Zucchini fritters and was presented with very flat and burnt fritters covered well with alot of Rocket lettuce! When I politely asked for some more that were not burnt my request was met with such defensiveness, and the waiter said "did you try them first". I do not eat anything burnt and it wasnt just a little burnt either.
I didnt think this was too much to ask, and he continued to argue that it was the "recipe" and that not all fritters are alike. I dont ever complain unless it is justified and I am not paying good money for burnt offerings! Either improve your recipe and cooking of this dish or take this one off the menu. It looks like you dont mind losing good customers and cant take honest and constructive criticism. I wont be back there again for a very long while if ever.

Friendly staff but food wasn't great. Got the korean Fried chicken burger but chicken was soggy. We got a huge portion of chips but no seasoning and tasted of old oil. The Aoli and peri peri sauces were very bland. Banana smoothie was good but small for price. Pretty disappointed

Very busy but worth going to. Cozy little cafe in the suburbs, has a good atmosphere and the food is really good. Iced coffee is to die for! Staff are very friendly and quick to serve.
