Great spot, the kids love it and there is loads of space across multiple areas. Only one bbq area I could see and could definetly use a coffee spot
Wasn't properly designed for kids. Definitely not fully friendly for disabled kids. Only a few activities available for disabled kids. The parking.not available or you'll walk a long distance. The new metal slide is too hot in summer. Also, it's not very safe for little kids- the, walls are concrete! So, easy to turn around and hit the head. It's really steep too! The vegetation is not kids friendly too - to sharp
A fantastic playground park of epic proportions, with a few caveats that baffle the mind. A sign on the main playground states that the ramps are at an angle much higher than the industry standard for disabled access. You can cook an egg on the new metal slide at midday. Shade has improved, with the introduction of more shade-sails, but should offer much more coverage. The water play area has been inactive for many months, including the 35c summer days. Parking is woefully inadequate for the demand this place generates, and you are kindly reminded by the ACT gov that parking on the grass is prohibited. All said and done, the kids still LOVE this place, and I'm sure yours will too!
Will be better with more natural shade and when people (children & parents) stay off the gardens.
Great idea - for those not familiar with the concept, the boundless playground has a range of equipment specially designed to accommodate children who require the use of a wheelchair at all times, those with limited mobility etc.
It's fantastic to have a truly inclusive playground like this in Canberra. Great to see kids of all abilities playing together.
