Boundless Playground reviews
67Lovely fenced in playground that is wheelchair accessible as well. The children have a range of different slide and climbing options as well as wide spaces to run and play.
This is such a fun park! There's a wide variety of playground equipment and all of it is amazing I definitely recommend.
Best young kid playground in Canberra, our little one can spend hours there… but it is hard to leave also

Fully Fenced playground (multiple gate entries)
Toilets inside fence
Shade Sail
Tree Shade
Car park
Bins
Picnic Area inside fence
larger picnic area bbq outside fence
Designed for all children and abilities. Fully fenced with internal and external seating areas. Nice seating deck and bbqs around outside area.
Expanded carpark with over 10+ disabled parking spots, 2 extra long spots for large utes or cars with trailers. Roundabout at the end of route for pickup/drop offs.
• fully fenced
• Multiple footpaths with footpath going round the whole playground.
• multiple seating spots scattered
Aero glider (wheelchair accessible) is back up and functional!
Due to recent windy weather 1 of the shade sails has broken, was removed and the area sectioned off until the replacement sail arrives and is fitted back on. This has blocked out the larger grass area as well for picnics and games.
Overall the playground is still fun and inviting, will require more maintenance in the new future as the wooden play structure is showing signs of wear and tear which is expected due to high volume of visitors.
• water play (turned off in winter)
• large accessible play structure
• musical sensory garden
• sandpit area
• swing set area
• large slide on own hill slope
• garden adventures + obstacles
• grass picnic areas
• water play wheel + stone river
Plenty of carpark spots, close to the city, musical posts, sliders everywhere. My daughter loves this playground
Most areas of the playground is undercover.
Works well for even slightly drizzly weather.
Massively wide slide able to accommodate 5 children at the same time.
A disabled swing and a disabled seesaw caters above what a normal park has.
2 toilets, water bubbler, grassy area for picnic makes this a great location for an outing.
It was great! Kids enjoyed the park with heaps of shade sails and the talking toilet was a fun novelty
Great sized and fully fenced playground with a variety of equipment for kids of all ages. Toilets on-site too.
Great location, easy to get off the highway for kids entertainment if you're travelling like we did. We were going to go to the Playground Pod (another park) but opted for this due to highway ease. Glad we did. Great for infant to school age. Maybe not as boisterous kids would enjoy. If I could remove half a star, I would for the dated toilet block but I'm fussy like that.
Loads of things for the kids to do! More picnic tables would be a good addition. Has the good old robo dunnies, which I don't love but they're practical I suppose. The play equipment is brilliant and makes for a great afternoon of wearing out energetic children!
Reasonable great amenities park! Suitable for young age kids, safe and toilets are available.
Not so busy at the time of visit.
Boundless is a great accessible playground, with wide access throughout, and ramped as per Australian Standards. Some of the timber is getting a pinch old, so worth being attentive if using mobility canes/sticks/crutches. Outside of the tube slides, the rest of the rig is accessible.
There is a more auditory breakout at the top of the park, and a swing section at the bottom of the park. The swings have a cradle swing, and what looks to be a wheelchair swing possibly under construction, but at the point of visit there isn't a wheelchair swing.
Note: whilst spread out, worth considering auditory sensitivities may be impacted by upper section (xylophone and steel bells).
One of the best playgrounds we have ever visited. This playground is great for ages 1-8. There are lots of mixed sunny and shaded areas. It is designed for all abilities and therefore very pram and wheelchair friendly. There is a main playground structure, water play section, sensory area, big drop slide, variety of swings and the list goes on! The great thing about this park is that it is fully fenced as well, right by Lake Burley Griffin. Parking is available, but timed so just be careful. Benches available to sit on.
One of the best place for kids. They have fence all around, so feels very safe for little kids as they can't go anywhere. Many different things to play. Good for little kids to 5-6years old.
Quite a large gated playground with lots of different equipment for a range of children age groups. There's some sensory play areas, water play and climbing equipment, alongside slides and swings. A few shaded areas for children and parents too.
Fantastic, fenced playground. Plenty of space to play and run around - never feels crowded. Great variety of play equipment for a range of abilities
Excellent playground for children in an excellent location. Very family friendly and worth visiting.
This is a wonderful playground for young kids. Large, fully fenced and lots of play equipment. Some water play inside the fenced area too. Parklands surrounding the playground have plenty of bench seating and BBQs. This is right by Lake Burley Griffin, with long scenic walking paths. We enjoyed our day out here!
Great equipment, good fencing. Play space was suited to a variety of ages and capabilities. Cute wildlife nearby.
Can be tricky to navigate supervising a toddler with a baby in a pram as there are lots of tricky narrows connections between spaces.
Toilets were in appalling condition and just entering the cubicle made me want to be sick. Tricky to avoid with a toilet training toddler.
A variety of safe and active playground equipment for kids of ages up to about 12. Great work ACT Govt.
