Bollywood Masala reviews
55Great ambience. Quick service. Courteous staff. Food is delicious. Biryani wasn’t to my taste, but other items were great. Try out the salty lassi and any chicken curry.
It was worst experience. The food was not tasty at all, but the price was too too high. For two biryanis, only one cup of raitha was served. We asked for second cup they charged us extra 4$ for that. I will never visit again.
Food was flavoursome, not Pataks (paste from jar) like most other restaurants. More authentic then mass produced meals. One of the good tasting biryanis I have had in a while. Service was not bad either. Portion size could do with an increase or reduce the $$ per dish. Nice ambience.
Whilst the vegetarian curry was delicious, the barramundi stuffed squid was very small for the price and, more importantly, extremely tough and could not be eaten. Overall, portions are small for the price.
Poor service, after 50 mints waiting got 4 pcs chicken tikka in long big plate look like they are kidding with us
Paying tooo much for nothing
Not happy
The best Indian cuisine in Canberra!
We love the food - packed full of flavour. The staff are always super friendly and the prices are good.
Overpriced extras, The charged 8 dollars for a small bowl of rice for two and justified it by telling us it was Basmati rice not Sydney rice! Normally rice is 2.50-3.00 per person max. And its always Basmiat rice.not that Basmati rice is really any more expensive that normal long grain. But this nickle and diming is quite pervasive these days.
Good Indian food, the prices have gone up to become a bit priecy restaurant. No compromise on taste though.
Found this place by chance, and what fantastic food. I had lunch and after a long time some restaurant could get palak paneer just right. Highly recommended.
Squid masala - not your everday dish. Very good, great service. Convenient to East Hotel if you are staying there.
Great service but the food is definitely tailored for the western pallette. Excessivly heavy on the butter and cream that the spices barely cut through it.
The best Indian food in Kingston and maybe even the ACT. Beautiful decor and ambience. Fantastic service.
I have been coming to Bollywood Masala in Kingston as my go to for Indian in Canberra, usually I am not a fan of butter chicken, but tried for the first time their butter chicken and wow! It was absolutely awesome, best i have ever had. Regularly get the paleek paneer, lamb korma and now butter chicken the service if you eat in or take away taste and overally satisfied feeling i have after eating from here are all exceptional.highly recommended
Not too pricey, great service, amazing food and even remembered I'm allergic to nuts and didn't put any on dessert without me asking - they really do go the extra mile
The name of the restaurant is opposite to the experience as the ambiance is nothing like what you would expect Bollywood to be. The food is absolutely brilliant! Would have to be one of the best, if not the best Indian we have had.and as Melbournians we are spoilt for choice. Highly recommend!
