55 Not worth to order
Rude behaviour
Who says that I haven’t ordered with you and 2nd thing is your staff didn’t do this 1st time this is happened with me 3rd or 4th time and its not that we don’t like to wait its just you guys don’t give proper response to delivery drivers and keep on telling us wrong timing to make us wait either tell us correct time so we don’t waste our time waiting for customers food for 20-30minutes
And double check I haven’t given 1star to other restaurants for same reason.
A menu filled with choices… This restaurant knows how to cook with spice.
After tandoori mushrooms we tried two of Bollywood’s house specialties, leg of lamb and their marinated barramundi. Delicious.
Bollywood Masala has been our go to for Indian restaurant for years, from when they first opened in Dickson and now at their single location in Kingston. Always excellent food, cooked the traditional way, in their charcoal tandoor, it really adds flavour. Owner Arjan is always friendly, funny and up for a chat, makes you feel very welcome. Thank you Arjan and the team!
The best Indian restaurant in Canberra. Barramundi curry, Palak Paneer and Chicken Tikka Masala wel worth ordering. The owner Arjun is just delightful as is Mundeep. I have tried over 12 different Indian Restaurants in Canberra and this is by far the best.
Bollywood Masala was a great find just around the corner from our accommodation during our weekend stay.
The food was amazing, so tasty and beautifully cooked and prepared. We will definitely be back next time we're in Canberra.
Amazing food. Best paneer I’ve ever had, lovely staff and great ambiance. Thanks for a lovely night!
Really tasty but pretty pricey. It's of vegetarian options as most Indian have, only few vegan options though. The eggplant curry was great and naan was yum.
The wait staff is very rude, they start commenting about us in the kitchen just beacuse we requested for a different spice level for two dishes which were sams.we could hear them talking and making fun from the kitchen. Would not visit this place again.
Honestly the best Palak Paneer I’ve ever had and then I find out they make their own yogurt and Paneer. It makes all the difference The Lassi is next level. The curries are well balanced. The flavours are not overpowering. Cant fault it. Service is amazing it matches the food.
100% the best Indian food I have ever eaten. It's so luxurious and flavorful. Could not recommend this place more?
It’s been three years since I’ve lived in Kingston, Bollywood Masala is as outstanding as it was last time. Just simply the best local Indian food.
Beautiful food (vegetarian buffet), beautiful decor and a waitress named Kuk who was absolutely delightful. Great night with friends.
The food is amazing. The customer service is the best.
They were so unbelievably kind for a birthday dinner.
The best Indian food I have eaten in Australia! We visited Canberra for the ADFA open day. Enjoyed a subliminal banquet meal here. Delicious and beautifully presented authentic Indian plates. Several courses. Even our 5 year old son relished the food and he is a fussy eater at the best of times. I really hope our son is fortunate enough to go to University in Canberra so we can all make this our local Indian restaurant (though we live on the Gold Coast!)
Be ready to wait for table, then for menu, then for placing the order and then for the food to arrive. Restaurant is under staffed. Food is expensive and tastes just ok. Won't recommend.
Our first but also last visit to this restaurant. Not gonna wait for over an hour for food while people came after us got served and left but we’re still waiting for ours. My children were hungry and upset. I suggest them inform customers the waiting time when they place their order.
Probably the worst Indian food in Canberra.
I mean the Butter Chicken and the Naan breads were so oily that America tried to invade it.
Been there last Saturday with 7 people, it was great food haven’t eaten before anywhere, Especially leg of lamb, and lakhnavi biryani
OMG. Kingston has a little treasure in the local strip. If you like Indian you’re going to lose your mind over this place. The Naan bread is insanely good, done over charcoal (I had the garlic variety) and the curries are rich and delicious. I was for a little while so tried to restrain myself but kept going back. On top of that the service is immaculate, so friendly and helpful and welcoming, even to a solo diner and the decor is very nice. Get there immediately and take friends so you can eat a bigger variety. Ignore the ridiculous critiques below. Always the grumpy people that bother having a whinge. I've eaten Indian all over the world and this is first rate.
I'm sharing the photo so you can share in my disappointment. The left was supposedly a Madras beef, though some bland milky soup would be a more appropriate description. On the right we have a chicken vindaloo, a 1 out of 100 in spice, wrong colour, consistency, and actually tasted more like a tikka masalla with poor quality meat. Even the poppadoms were burnt. $50 literally in the bin and heading back out for a pizza. This is the biggest fail I've ever encountered with takeaway in any country I've ever lived. The waiter was kind though hence the 2nd star.
