There used to be wonderful and inspiring vegan meals last year and every 2 weeks or so they would change. Now there is a vegan chimichanga on the menu and it’s so bland and uninspiring. I’m so upset how the new chef overlooks vegan options.

Another beautiful breakfast at 54 Benjamin. The twist on smashed avo was divine, with char grilled corn, tomatoes and lemon labna! Yummo. And the coffee is always great. Thanks team!

Forgot us, not very professional, ended up with Costco platters. I understand Covid has devastated some businesses but surely lunch for the brides pre-wedding lunch would stick in your mind.

Excellent coffee, great service, comfy chairs, friendly staff. Some of the best coffee I've had since my Melbourne days, strong but not bitey with a refreshing palate. Vibing off a double shot is coffee nirvana!

These are really the nice guys of cafes in Canberra! I have been following them for ages on Instagram and finally had the chance to come in and eat.

I was really impressed by the attentive wait staff here- as soon as we walked in we were received in a professional manner and looked after. After we'd ordered a staff member came to check on us and make sure we didn't have any problems with the qr code system- a simple gesture sorely lacking in another establishment we visited last week.

We ordered the linguine, chicken burger and chimmichunga, all of which were excellent! There was a high standard across all the dishes that showed attention to detail and care about the end result. Of course the coffees were fantastic too.

A great experience overall, we will certainly return soon.

We were honestly taken aback at how wholesome and welcoming the wait staff are:) They are so prompt and have such polite service! Everything we ordered came out seamlessly, and was super filling and tasty. We can't wait to come back again, thank you for our wonderful experience:)

Definitely the best coffee Northside! Seasonal menu is always offering something new with awesome daily specials. Staff are friendly and super efficient. Great work team. Thanks for being our daily grind:)

Went in today for lunch, worst experience ever. Staff were more concerned in my dollar value than anything else. Lunch was over priced for a cafe and very below average in taste and quantity. Coffee is the worst I've tasted watery and week. Will not be going back and don't waste your earnt money there. Very disappointing

This new venue in Belconnen is a must visit. Staff are quick and no fuss, good quality up market and trendy addition to Belconnen - a challenge to Canberra City. Well done Tom - love the the fit out menus staff - it’s perfect. It’s the Friends coffee shop and more - check it out.

Delicious food (it's always better than expected), friendly staff (who you're always happy to see again) and the menu updates regularly. My favourite cafe in Canberra.

Visited for the first time today and was impressed with the food and service. My wife is raving about the "Benjamin Bowl"! The staff were happy, helpful and obliging. Obviously a well run enterprise. Long live 54!

Unreal food and very friendly staff. Perfect place for drinks, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good selection of liquor too. Awesome place.

Really fast service and great food! It's a funky spot that has an interesting menu. Loads of stuff I can't wait to try. Coffees came really quickly. We'll definitely come back again. Especially to try the dinner menu!

Ordered a coffee and it took forever. People came after me and got their coffee before me. Really poor customer service. I think once staff found out that I only wanted a coffee and not a full breakfast they made sure to delay the order as much as possible. I brought this up with the lady at the counter and she responded as if she was least bothered. Keep up this attitude and you won’t last long. Was really keen to give this new place a try but sadly let down.

I've been to 54 Benjamin for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and every time I've left satisfied. Favourites for me include the breaky burger (double egg, double bacon and a rosti on the side of course), the steak sandwich and I'm a huge fan of the Charlie Chaplin cocktail.
I love the relaxed vibe and am able to take my wife and children and know that they too have menu favourites (those hotcakes!)

This is the type of place I want to tell everyone about because it's so good! On the other hand, I don't want anyone else to go to because then it would no longer be quite as much of a hidden gem.
The fresh custard/jam donuts are bloody incredible.

54 Benjamin never disappoints! Breakfast, lunch, even just a few drinks with mates - we always enjoy our time at 54 Benjamin. The food is amazing! I often try their vegan items and honestly, they almost turn me vegan every time! The staff are always friendly and you'll always get an amazing coffee!

54 Benjamin is my favourite bar and cafe in the Belconnen area. It has a fantastic food menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner and always features some amazing specials. You can't go past the great range of beers and delicious cocktails, but the best part is the great atmosphere and friendly staff. I would highly recommend.
