Theres a highly educated branch manager called Michelle.:) probably high school at best.

She has an attitude because she is not where she wants to be in life. I see many of the reviews are referring to her fondly:) we will collectively teach her the power of the internet. These amateurs charged my card two months after our business was concluded, claiming they refunded my bond in errror.

Your better off leasing from the bikies or the italian mafia, at least they wont screw you over months later and respond to your emails.

Im not someone to leave bad reviews, but when someone or in this case a company causes injustice to another it's a no brainer. I made a booking to hire a tuck first of all for $129 a day, to then be billed for $180 is MISLEADING. They took my payment of $180 and unfortunately 4hrs later my circumstances changed and I no longer needed the truck hire. I e-mailed them 4hrs later and the lady called me 1st thing to let me know< SORRY NO REFUND. I can understand this policy for clients whom cancel 24/48/72hrs even 4days prior BUT 4 hrs after payment was taken and 7 days PRIOR to cancel is down right THEFT! And to tell me ITS COMPANY POLICY, well I hope you sleep well at night knowing you mislead your clients and you allow NO grace for changing circumstances a WEEK prior to the rental, and to make it WORSE to tell me you hold it to a CREDIT.its not everyday one needs to hire a 3T truck and my car insurance allows me a loan vehicle. So uv now made money out of a client whom never used your services, as well as the next whom now can use the truck. When I read the reviews, I'm definitely not surprised and more so GRATEFUL I didn't rent this truck. This company obviously needs the money by scamming their clients.

Wow what an awesome experience this morning. The opposition really left us up the creek without a paddle. Canningvale called Bibra Lake and secured we think the last Ute in town with a tow bar. Upon arrival the meet and greet was world class. Jen was a super star she went from good to great very quickly. Jen advised us she was new, wow was the reply we would never thought so as your service has been mint. The other lady sorry forgot the name must be a fantastic mentor

Our initial contact with Zippy was very positive. A newer front-desk employee at the Canning Vale branch returned our email inquiry via phone call. She was very friendly, accomodating and diligient. She did not have a vehicle readily available but was expecting one the next day. Within a half-hour, she called back again saying a car had just come in and we were welcome to it. The next day after picking up the car, unnoticable to us, our teenage (car connaisure) son thought the front tire looked low so we decided to test the pressure to be on the safe, and he was indeed correct! We inflated the tire and all seemed good. However, the next day, we noticed the pressure was not holding. We let Zippy know immediately however their offices were closed. Monday morning, Zippy returned our call and the lady on the other end was quite abrupt and unfriendly (not the same person as on our initial encounter). She asked us to bring the car in, which we did and then proceeded to tell us it was our fault and we had to pay for the tire to be fixed! What popycock! How absolutely ridiculous! And they did not refund the early drop off of the vehicle. They blamed the tire on us saying they test the tire pressures before each car goes out which is absolute bullocks considering how fast the car was turned-over in the first place. We should have not been such good samaritans! Zippy should NOT be in the car rental buisness and the WA regulators should have a look at their rental policies!

Booking process had been smooth. I've asked sufficient queries, the lady had provided sufficient clarifications. Well explained in fact had been quite patient. During the sales stage.

Got there the lady had been passive aggressive. On small stuff. Got me an impression should have known to turn away with the order.

Upon return the process was smooth, I followed all given instructions, resulted in smooth transition upon return.

Had to give one star but not even worth that. Rented truck for less than 1 day. Emailed 4 days later that truck was scratched and owed $950 on top of $550 they kept. I disputed as never damaged any part of the truck and told it would go higher. Called GM twice, no call back. Then 3rd Jan 2022 this year they debited my bank account the $950. Unethical family run and owned business. Go elsewhere people. Never had issues in 20 years of hiring vehicles globally until Zippy's.

No moving truck van was available either Thrift or the Budget so I had no choice but to use Zippy rental. Hopefully for the last time. Zippy was not that bad (other than that bits falling off, remote does not work, and admin is below par.) but the others company van are much better, and cheaper!

Awesome but only glitch was there was no hand held for the lift hoist. It had to be done with the key. No biggie if there was 2 people at all times.

Had a positive experience hiring a small Canter van from Zippy in Canning Vale.
The vehicle was well presented and easy to use, handover procedure on a very busy Saturday morning was smooth and thorough (make sure to be there at the arranged time) and the pricing was fair.
Would be happy to use them again should the need arise.

Thought it would be a good company, however I was wrong! The truck drove well, and was clean. There were lots of scratches on the truck, not a problem. We dropped off the truck in perfect condition, 48 hours later, I get a call saying there was a scratch on the truck. Why did it take them 48 hours? The woman I spoke to (Michelle) was incredibly rude to me, saying we would have to pay in full! Which therefore meant I wouldn't get my bond back. They said that we had scratched the truck - we didn't. There was a massive scratch going downwards - think we would have noticed. I firmly believe this company doesn't want to give their customers their bond back. I wouldn't recommend this company to ANYONE! Honestly to anyone looking for a truck rental, go somewhere else. These guys aren't worth your money.

Do not use these guys if you want to get your bond back. I hired a truck to move house. A hydrolic guard at the rear of the truck fell off whilst on the free way without my knowledge. Untill I stopped to unload the truck. By luck I found it on my second trip damaged but thought I'd do the right thing picked it up and returned it to zippy and I informed them of the cover. And was told by reception that this would not effect my bond. A week later still no bond I call them and they tell me they are waiting for and invoice for the guard cover. I argued the fact that this was a fault with their truck and not due to poor driving. I have not won. They tell me they are charging me 350 for the cover I have asked to see an invoice to prove they are not stealing from me.
I hired the truck on the 6/1/2020 it has been nearly a month and I am no closer to seeing any of my bond.
Do not use this company.

WARNING! Don't expect your $ 550. Bond Deposit back, the slightest scratch & these Guy's will refuse to return your Deposit

Terrible service and terrible prices. They advertise that they have the best prices but on comparison they are one of the most expensive. Not recommended.

Definately use these guys again.

Rang to book a truck for next Thursday, Lady ran through the cost no problems there, took my credit card details.so i ring today (less then 24 hours later and a week in advance) to be advised that the $179 is non refundable however this was never mention at time of booking! Had this been explained i would never have gone ahead with the booking.if any money disappears from my account consumer protections here i come!

Everyone there is super helpful and friendly. The truck I've booked twice now was very easy to drive and priced very reasonably.

Have used these guys twice now and staff are lovely! Corolla was available and organised with ease. Definately one of the cheaper priced rates for car hire!

Great affordable rental fleet. Flexible open hours and easy delivery after hours. Super polite and nice staff really eager to help and well explained instructions. Book it!
