Zeal Vietnamese Restaurant reviews
30 It’s very hard to
complain but I hope it will
help the owner improve.
Soup was full of nudlles and vegetables only little. What was shocking- 100% orange juice was fake made from syrup only. When I asked the lady about she said it was fresh with added sugar. Why someone would add sugar to the fresh 100 per of juice and that cost 8 ad
Very disappointing
Tonight's dinner was awful. Prawns were old mushy and inedible. Serves only half filled the container. We have been a fan of this restaurant over the years but will now be looking elsewhere. Disappointing.
Arrived for our table at 8 as booked. Wasn't busy. 40 minutes went by and nobody came to take our order. Customers who had come after us were attended to within minutes. Kind of glad we decided to leave as I was struggling to fnd any authentic Vietnamese dishes, anyway. Chinese, Thai flavours mostly.except for a few salads a n d Vietnamese rolls. Shame.
.
We loved the duck dish it was pretty sensational however the $18 for fried rice was pretty ordinary for the price and the starter of calamari was ordinary at best. Where this place let itself down was the service, the young Asian male wearing the mask couldn’t even greet us, when we ordered he stayed completely silent and overall was not friendly or engaging in the slightest. Also toilet area also wasn’t what I call clean at the 6pm before it’s gets busy. Next time I’ll probably just get the duck dish as a takeaway.
Strictly asked for no egg with rice. Received with egg. No discount offered. Staff need more training. Other dishes were nice
No doubt about this restaurant serves one of the Best Vietnamese food in Perth. One of the very helpful female staff walked us through how to assimilate ingredients of traditinal ice coffee. It made our outing a great experience. Will be back soon.
Food was tasty & service was quick & friendly even though they were booked out. Definitely going again.
Great food and service! Half hour drive from the downtown of Perth and u can see one of the prettiest sunset on the way if it’s sunset time! We ordered 2 pho, rice paper roll and stir fried diced steak! All of the dishes are so yummy so we ordered one additional pho and the grilled prawn! Highly recommended this restaurant!
Love the fact that food is always fresh, the service is fast and food is tasty! So far my favourite Vietnamese restaurant. The Shaken diced beef is a must try!
I thought it was good, the service was great and there prawn crackers are so good. I would definitely go again.
Excellent food good service. Order multiple appetizers instead of main. Good variety very reasonable price. Will go again
Excellent tasty food, generous portions, good service, excellent atmosphere. Will be back again.
The Pho was different to others I’ve tried. Has a prominent cinnamon flavour which is nice.
What's the difference between a dish on a Thai or Chinese or Vietnamese restaurant's menu and one listed under Chefs Special? Normally the latter is really good. Outstanding or similar. Not here. It's just the same thing only dearer.
E.g. Duck with lotus flower is just a stir fry duck drowned in soy sauce.
On the up side they cater for special requests like birthday cake byo, their portions are huge and prices reasonable.
The wine and beer menus are quite good too, and yes, the food tasted well.
If you need to go to the loo you'd better wait until after your visit. Below average is all I say.
Had dinner for eleven people, the restaurant was full and there were only two wait staff. They did a great job under a lot of pressure. The food was great varying from the fried whole barramundi to the roast duck. All meals servings were of generous proportions and cooked perfectly. Will definitely go back.
A busy Vietnamese Restaurant at North Beach. Hidden in Flora Terrace. You can get to see sunset here while having dinner. Food was good, price is reasonably
Good food, good prices though many dishes more like Australian Chinese than Vietnamese. Fast friendly service. Good for kids. Kitchen is Noisy, quieter on balcony with heaters. Very wide menu, generous portions with lots of fish, duck etc.in the rice or noodles. Do takeout. Licenced
Good food. Restaurant is a bit shabby as are the toilets. Cheapish and cheerful. Bloody loud though. Sit outside if you can.
Great food and lovely service. Brilliant customer experience from the online booking to arrival, seating, table service and the food itself, which was heavenly divine. Well done to all, but especially to the owners and managers who have very clearly put great food and wonderful customer satisfaction at the heart of their business model.
Oh, and don’t bother with BYO, the wine list is excellent.
Fantastic! We were accommodated last minute for a table. It was busy and the staff were working so hard to please everyone. The food was delicious. We’ll definitely be back
