Zambrero Malaga

Don't bother coming here. They use different boxes and portions are way smaller than the other stores as a result. I ordered a large burrito bowl and they gave the same portion as the regular one. Service was so slow.spend your money elsewhere

I never leave reviews but this place was absolutely horrible the service, the food prep and that atmosphere made me wanna throw my burrito over the counter and go hungry for the rest of the day. I will never go here again if it means going to work and scraping food off people left overs. 0/10 never go here unless u want to ruin ur week

Been going to this store each week since it opened about 5 years ago with the last owner Jules the best.the current owners are so stingy with condiments, extra cheese on toasted burrito was like she was sprinkling gold on the damn thing. This is why your quite instore, wake up.wont go back whilst these owners are there.

Malaga zambrero is the best one there service is good and the staff is too friendly and there vegetarian classic bowl is best

I can’t review the food at this location as I did not order after this, but the staff member sneezed directly into the salad/salsa section. Sunday at 8: 30pm, 6/08/2023. He did not wash his hands after … I suppose he didn’t need to as he didn’t use them to cover his sneeze anyway.

Young girl served me and placed an ingredient I didn't ask for on my burrito. When I politely mentioned it and said I didn't want it, I was met with a sigh and roll off the eyes. Owner jumped in and made it again.
Looks like new owners and unfortunately I won't be back.
Service was terrible and the burrito was no where the standard it used to be.

But my experience in this particular location was so disappointing

When i told that the black rice wasn’t cooked. The rice was hard as grain
The only reply i got was “IT’s COOKED”.

I waited over 20 mins patiently to pick up my delivery, he served the whole store and I just nicely asked how long for my order and very rudely pointed finger at me and said WAIT!

I told him to not be rude I have patiently been waiting here

Ordered a Big burrito. Girl at counter gave me a heaped scoop (barely 1.5 scoops). She told me a big burrito was 1.5 scoops whereas online it days double filling. Basically ripped me off and had me pay extra for a regular burrito even when questioned. Staff at all other Zambreros are much better. Avoid this one.

I go to zambreros consistently around perth and the 3 or 4 times I have been to the Malaga store their portioning is so undersized it's crazy. A regular burrito comes out the same as a mini and a big comes out the same as a regular. Why pay the extra to have less. Once you ask for extra of one item you feel bad asking for it for everything. The meat is mostly liquid so when you ask for extra meet you then get charged extra to end up with a normal amount of meat. Normal amount is what every other store puts on. Just seems to be Malaga who are stingy. 10/10 recommend zambreros just not this store. If you're in the area go to pita Pit instead

Just went to this store and so disappointed. Smallest burrito I've ever got from Zambreros. Incredibly light on in fillings, so much so all I could taste is rice. The girl accidentially flicked corn chips out of my husbands nachos on to the floor but didn't top it up. She repeatedly asked about what I wanted included but didn't listen so had to keep checking. She even put the wrong sauce on the bowl the person in front of me ordered. Didn't wish me a good day or evening thanks after I paid. Won't be back.

Smallest regular Burrito I have ever had from Zambreros, think staff thought they may be paying for the toppings themselves.

Great Charity mission too (every meal bought, one is sent to someone in need around the globe).

They served me very little amount of food for what I am used to in this chain food. The person who served me the food swept rice leftovers from the counter to the rice container before serving.

Staff are really nice but they need to cover foods when not serving due to too many flies inside and also where the food is and dining tables are not cleaned.

Food was decent and much the same as any other Zambrero, so I'm just giving a three for the flip-flop staff.
A few times I've gone in and noticed that some customers receive curt service for no discernible reason.

Staff always very friendly and chatty at this particular location, thanks for the great food and service.
