YMCA East Cannington Early Learning Centre

Our experience with YMCA Cannington has been nothing short of amazing. The positive approach towards all children is truly commendable. My son is always excited to go to the center in the morning. The team's dedication to creating a happy and educational atmosphere has greatly contributed to my son’s growth and development over the last 6 months. Grateful for such a wonderful place with such wonderful childcare educators

YMCA East Cannington has been the most wonderful daycare for all three of my children since 2014 to now. I have managed to study as a nurse with a FIFO husband and then managing shift work due to YMCA being easily available when required.
I take solace in the fact, some educators are still there from when I had my first child at the centre 10 years ago.

Communication with staff is great, always kept in the loop with new activities, great selection of food for the children and the natural play area I just love with established trees, plants and the wonderful assortment of activities the children can be immersed in. Thank you YMCA for all that you've provided to our family.

My daughter has been with YMCA since 17 months (currents she's 4) we've had a wonderful experience. They staff are brilliant, with very low turn over.

We've had our daughter here (mostly one day a week) for a year, leading up to her starting kindy, and are very happy with the care she has received. The carers really make an effort to know the individual kids and their strengths, interests, and challenges. They've been very accomodating, responsive and supportive. Thank you Bev, Sarah, Polly, Marisa, Pradyna and all the other caring staff at The Y East Cannington!

My daughter has been going to YMCA East Cannington for 4 months now and it has been an amazing experience for her. Miss Bev and Miss Tahlia in the kindy room, as well as all the other staff, are so kind and I feel like she is well looked after; which is a big thing as a parent. She has been learning so much and her confidence has grown since she's started there. Happy Feet Thursdays and 'News day' make her week! I definitely would recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a safe and professional environment, and will definitely be enrolling my second baby there when the time comes! Thank You!

Not happy with the educator treated the child uncompassionately. Judging the parents saying they spoilt the child.

Love the YMCA East Cannington centre as it build up my child confidence in making friends, sharing and caring with others. She 's very happy every day when she 's back home and always tell me that She's gonna miss Ms. Jessica, Ms. Deepika educators & her best friend Luna, Ariel, Phoebe etc

As a first time mum I was very nervous to place my child into childcare. I visited 4 centres in my area and chose YMCA East Cannington as this was the centre with the best feeling to me. My instincts did not disappoint. My daughter started day care at 6 months and the staff were so supportive to both my daughter and myself as I transitioned back to work. I feel my daughter has learnt and developed so much with the help of all the educators at YMCA who she loves so very much. I highly recommend YMCA East Cannington and cannot thank them enough for all they have done.

The educators are caring and experienced, they provide interesting and fun activities. My child loves YMCA and tells me about her friends at daycare. The facilities are good and the is a great centre manager.

My daughter loves going here. The facilities are lovely, lots of stimulation. The staff are very friendly. A nice daycare centre.

We love YMCA East Cannington for so many reasons - my son started there when he was only 6 months old and the staff happily answered all of my anxious mum questions. They have a focus on outdoor play and messy play and we love that our little one often comes home with dirt and sand in his shoes and clothes, or in another outfit entirely because of painting fun or water play! The educators are caring and encouraging - to parents as well as the children in their care. The home cooked meals are amazing and the cook works hard to ensure all kids' needs are catered for. Centre director Navin communicates frequently with parents and I have rarely seen him actually in his office as he is more often out on the floor or outside with the kids! Wonderful place, highly recommended!

After searching many different child care centres in the area, we had visited YMCA East Cannington Last and out of 6 different centres this centre really stood out. As soon as we walked through the gate, Mel the centre director greeted us with a big smile and felt very welcoming.some of the centres we had visited it felt a very big hinderence with us being there because we hadnt actually booked a time because as a working parent with a little one it is very hard to know what your doing to be able to book a time. Mel showed us around the child care and introduced us to the staff as we went on. Our little girl is in the babies room, She was going to be the youngest in the centre but we felt very safe with leaving our little girl in the hands of the ladies that were in the room. Mel explained to us that YMCA East cannington was actually a safe guarding children and young people accredited centre, at first we didnt know what this was but she went on to explain that it means that their child protection policies are actually accredited by an australian wide organisation and just had been reaccredited.this made us feel more safe in leaving our little 6 week old with them.after we had been shown around and explained how fees worked and the program, we left feeling very satisifed that we had found the perfect childcare for our little girl to grow and develop in.i would reccomend Mel and her team to anyone.
