3 Really nice little cottage, I recommend
If you are Aussie, enjoy your stay
If you are backpacker and during the self check in the girl ask you to move to another place, just refuse (refer to my review on Pemberton Backpackers)
We stayed in one of their houses. $70 a night got my two boys and me two large rooms with plenty of room to move. The house was spacious with a wood fire, tv, well set up kitchen and lounge.
I'd definitely stay again
The Pemberton YHA is basic but serves its purpose. A stand-alone house in centre of town it has two private rooms and a dormitory with shared facilities. It is cheaper than most options in the area
I stayed in Room 3, which was OK but would be hot in summer and cold in winter. Photo below.
Booking was easy via the website, and check in etc is handled remotely via lock boxes.
