49Either incompetent or extremely sexist! Went in today to get help to fix my voicemail for a phone plan in my husbands name which we share as a family. They would not get my voicemail to work unless I get my husband into the store in person! (despite having previously set up authorisation for me.which they managed ‘to lose’.). I then asked to set up an individual plan in my name transferring my number. Again they said they could not do it without my husband’s presence- since he owned my phone number! What century does Optus live in? I went to the Telstra shop, provided our Optus account nr and my phone number and voila- I had a plan in my name 10 minutes later. Shame on you Optus! (or was it just incompetent staff?). I thank my lucky stars, I’m not trying to escape Domestic Violence and being confronted by two blokes telling me only ‘my man’ can enable my phone voicemail!
Multi billion dollar phone company does not answer its phone.
I phoned optus Booragoon on 62478141. After 1min 60sec a women answered and told me to call back in 5 min. After 5 min I returned call, it rang unanswered for two mins and dropped out. I repeated this four more time and was finally answered on the fifth call. It took over ten mins of ringing to get someone to pick up. Like many of the reviews before me i'll give it a one only because I can't give them a zero.
Staff at Optus Booragoon was really helpful twinkle really helped me really well and the manager was also really cooperating I recommend everybody to go to this store. Optus need more staff like Twinkle ️️️️️
Lawrence was amazing after spending over a week trying to sort out my webmail. He is the greatest! I have resolved all my technical issues!
Useless staff members - most of them, rude and condescending, especially the manager, it was my third visit there and I left with an advice to call the support team. I dont know if they work on commissions but as soon as the matter is not sales related they get rid of you saying they cant help.
Met a great bunch of Guys at the OPTUS store in Garden City Booragoon this afternoon. My brother and I are NOT tec savvy. The staff were so helpful. Sauban in particular. I cannot speak highly enough. When you are NEANDERTHALS like us it's such a relief when you can get help like we did at Optus Garden City.

Wanted to add and change my Changed my phone plan! But it took a very long time as new worker stuffed it up! Will have to go back after Easter! And change again (with out the extra security plan they insisted!)
Mixed feelings. Kamyar the store manager is certainly the one you want to speak to if you don’t want to be asked a million times why you bought your phone elsewhere and why you don’t have the latest phone. He is very knowledgeable and has great EQ skills, inviting anyone who is waiting to have a seat and apologising for the wait. On the other hand, the staff member I dealt with initially was all about upselling and making me spend more money- I had to tell him to focus on fixing my issue and was ready to walk out because of how inept he was at it. I can see many foreign workers in the store and while I applaud this, I think it’s also important that they are able to communicate properly as that is their main role.
Worst experience ever. I don’t recommend this store to anyone.they don’t have enough staff and the staff who are in the store are not ready to listen what’s the customer query about.not satisfied with the service.

Absolutely disgusting, do not sign anything as the staff have no clue, on what they’re on about, and flat out lie! I am expecting a call or a email. As I’ve been sold into a lie. And locked in to a contract, with no help to fix this issue. I’m asking for someone from Optus, not the manager at Booragoon, as they display disgusting customer service, to contact me to discuss this further, as the staff at Booragoon have seem to wipe there hands clean with me!
Please don't waste your time going into this store. One of the worst experiences I have had with any Optus stores that has made me re think staying with the company completely. Extremely disappointing considering how much I used to recommend Optus. Defiantly wont be anymore.

I had an issue with my mobile service, my call to the support line were less than satisfactory, so I visited Edward at Optus Booragoon. With a few clicks and a phone call Edward was able to resolve the matter. I highly recommend Edward as he provides excellent customer service!
About three months after my purchase, Samsung s20, it started to get extremely hot during charging.
I went to Optus Booragoon, where I originally purchased the phone, and complained about the problem and they said that I would have to leave the phone there for assessment for up to seven days. I asked for a temporary replacement but they refused even though I was using my phone for work.
Since then the phone calls last 15mins and the call shuts down and it gets extremely hot with other issues also.
Still paying it off.
Very poor service and NO support
I wish I could give 10 stars. Went in on a Saturday morning with big dramas and the staff including manager and 2ic could not help me enough went over and above to get my problems sorted big thank you and are a credit to the store will definitely be using and recommending them for a long time to come, thanks guys.
Pretty poor customer service. Went in for a phone upgrade and customer rep was rude, indifferent and unhelpful. Terrible effort in a competitive marketplace. Tried to pick up a Pixel phone to have a closer look - it alarmed, and the look the rep gave me was unbelievable.
Poor Customer Relations.
Pleasant when they were keen to obtain business from clients however displayed little accountability surrounding their poor knowledge of products sold. Would not recommend this store for their extremely poor after sales care and dismissive attitude once they got your signature on the dotted line.

It is a good shop. The expected speed of customer service is not user friendly for mature customers! Young staff handle it well thank you.
Public awareness - you are at risk of being misled by Optus Sales Person. Recently I was at Optus Garden City Perth. The sales person adding accessories about $480 into our package fee. I was made to believe to sign up as protection and get a good deal with some accessories. After signing digital for your plan, I was NOT given a written contract.
And now I have to pay $480 for cheap sub standard accessories for nothing. Just lodged with the ACCC. Hope people don't get con by Optus, and unfortunately with this Garden City Perth Optus Store it is Sales revenue more than customer service.
