The food here was great but the team at Yen Yen were incredible! Our whole family came together after the funeral of our brother/son/uncle (obviously they didn’t know that). We put in an order for delivery but then changed last minute to pick up. We left some condiments behind at pick up - the team took it upon themselves to deliver the condiments to us after we had left without us requesting it and without extra cost. Such an astonishing act of kindness on such a sad day for our family was truly beautiful. And the food was amazing after a long hard day. 11/10 will be eating from here again.

Everything we ordered was delicious and prepared using high quality ingredients. The portions were generous and very well priced. Definitley tops the list of our go to takeaway when we feel like a guilt-free hearty meal. Highly recommended.

This place is a fantastic and always provides great friendly service! I even bump into the owner at our local supermarket and she always says hello because she remembers me coming into her business.

No service at all. The drama, the bad attitude, the prejudiced preaching, shocked me. For what? Because we have the same Asian face? Because I was too nice to mean.
So, not "special" Aussie, not mean enough, too nice and friendly to fit in here. I don't want to be treated rude, so I won't be here anymore.

You should do this, you shouldn't do that. The second time I hear it from you, even though the words filter out the bad tone, it's an educational attitude that makes 'sorry' seem dispensable. Just say, it's all your fault, I did everything right.
All I wanted was a piece of paper to wipe my hands, I had to call out the only one staff to stop working in the kitchen and wipe my hands for me, it was so weird, it was what you call an Australian rule, it was so hard to follow.
Worried about slipping, although I don't think so (from I came in to the end of the meal, there were no any guests in the dining eare, and the drips could be dried with a paper towel in a second), but I understood the fear and apologized again and again.
Couldn't find a piece of paper in the whole area and asked the staff twice. It got more sticky while I was waiting, and after that, I realized that the table was dirty.
Because the guest found the table dirty and wiped it, is the reason for the tension, so as to use this as an excuse, Chastising customer who seem good-natured enough to be bullied.
Some excuse may be needed to explain the loud exclamations, the bad attitudes, and the bizarre claims about what makes Australia special, which are deeply uncomfortable. Thanks for the instruction, I will go to another restaurant "in Australia".

Small little takeaway, nice and tasty flavour to my likeness. Nasi Goreng was superb.
P.s. Friendly staff n Seems like most are regular customers.

An amazing place to have a quick bite, or a delicious tatse of Perth Malaysian dishes. We ordered the combination fried kwayteow, chef's special beed brisket clay pot and the crispy skin chicken with vinegar sauce. The taste was immaculate, and just right. Highly recommend to anyone in the Southern River area. Owner is very nice, and service is fast. Well dserved 5 star

We went to Yen Yen Chinese Kitchen on a hot day. We ordered The Special Fried rice and it was so nice and tasty. Definitely top 3 places to eat. MUST TRY

Smoky charred beef fried kuey teow and salted chili chicken for today's lunch didn't disappoint us! Generous portion meals and definitely one of the best in the area. Highly recommend!

Nice small takeaway resturant, in somehow I just love the taste of their food, lots of other resturant’s food cause me super thirsty after eating but not Yen yen. Customer for near 5 years, I though I should write a review.consistently visit once in couple of weeks, always friendly staffs and make effort to say hi and chat if not busy……at last my fav dish, Ho fun and honey chicken, best in town

This is REALLY REALLY Good food. It was so fresh and the honey chicken had great consistency plus the Chilly beef WAS actually a “chilly” beef. Not over done but still that chilly tingle on your lips after finishing it PLUS, I don’t know how he did it but the beef just melted in your mouth, it was so soft and tender.

Had honey chicken, satay beef and fried rice delivered. Their chicken was dry and tough. Satay didn't taste like peanut. And the rice wasn't fluffy.

Best fried rice I've ever had. Shame is they've stopped delivering to Gosnells.too far apparently.

Another new owner have to watch them you have to ask for your free drink when ordering a special the so called sweet an sour satay beef fried rice is same price as so called deal koi Harrisdale heaps better

The best fried rice ever! Don't let appearances deceive you.it's not you average Caucasian style Asian. This is the real deal. Their food is to die for and they subscribe to Uber eats!

Food is nice and friendly staffs. I’m a Regular here, wanna review the recent “below” review about the something in the dish, I was there and the staff showed me the pic, the dish container is clear n clean with a few “something” inside the empty container. Found very unfair for the resturant.how could someone only complaint after near two hours received and finished the meal. Make me think.

Changed phone to 93986972, rang many times to get my favorite Singapore Mi Fun, no answer.today found out their phone being cut off due to nbn roll in.

Ordered a few dishes for pick up. Found pieces of plastic similar to that from a cooking utensil in a noodle dish. Nicely explained this to restaurant for their benefit. Got a surprisingly defensive response. Not happy!

Family owned and run little place, the food is always good and cooked fresh. Kids love it, especially the honey chicken and prawn crackers.
The lunch specials are very good value for money

Food delivered was less than half quantity, and box opened. When called up the owner, owner was arguing and extremely ill behaved, not ready to accept or apologise. The owner was bragging ovdr the long years of establishment and said she does not care if customer is not satisfied. Never order from this restaurant again.
