We went at a friend's recommendation. Suffice to say we shan't be heeding their suggestions in future.
My compliments to the chef. For having the unmitigated gall to pass that steak off as food. "Rump" steak that was about as thick as a standard slice of toast. At my guess his/her near sighted butcher damn near missed the cow completely. My partner's was tough and inedible (she prefers hers well done) and mine (medium rare) wasn't much better.
I have had worse meals. But not very often.
The 4 stars are for the bar staff.

The food was really good and the service from waitstaff and bar staff was extremely friendly and efficient. Highly recommend a visit

We used to have good food and service never disappointed regular Friday night for me and friend but from last couple of weeks the food quality and presentation deteriorated tried few times before re-revising my review.sad to see can't go anymore to one of our favourite.

Not my favourite place.too old and dark for me, but the meals were good and reasonably priced and staff were helpful and friendly.

I love the food here and the sticky date pudding with whipped Creame is the best thing I've ever tasted

Great place for a feed or a party, family friendly and great food, common beers on tap with a few cocktails on option. Two pool tables and two beer gardens.

Good food well priced and Astrid was absolutely fantastic, undoubtedly the best service I've had for some time.

So having spent a week in the area and frequented the pub several times, i have no hesitation in recommending the oub grub. Twice a had a great steak and ribs. Great cold beer. Most staff were great but a few of the staff need toearn how to sme and communicate. Its not that hard.

Ordered the chicken Kiev, chips and salad. Chick was dry and hard, chips were soggy. Salad was a tomato cut in half and two bits of lettuce. Was very below average.

Fabulous venue great food and very friendly staff excellent service and the cost of the meal and drinks value for money. When l am in the area l enjoy to visit.

The size of the meals has dramatically dropped. I ordered the calamari and salad which came with 7 pieces of Calamari. The side order of chips for $6.95 had no more than 20 small chips. My husband's seafood basket consisted of I piece of fish, 2 pieces of Calamari, 2 prawns and a SMALL pot of crab meat/crab sticks? Considering this lunch cost $75 it was poor. As my husband said it looked like a small seniors lunch at double the cost. I could have gone to any other restaurant in Armadale and had a delicious meal for this price. The staff are ALWAYS great and the atmosphere is lovely but just don't eat there as it is VERY poor value.

Very enjoyable lunch on a public holiday. The chicken schnitzel and chips was fabulous! My hubby enjoyed his Fish and chips too. Beautiful decor and dining rooms.

Good solid feed. The Narry burger is pretty darn good. Out in the beer garden on a sunny day is a great place to be

Great reef and beef with garlic sauce, friendly atmosphere, second time I have been there and DEFINITELY going many more times.

Went to The Narry today for lunch with my wife. My wife had the grilled fish with garlic mash with 3 prawns as an extra. Her meal was fine. I ordered the Scotch fillet medium rare with mushroom sauce. The first time it came out the steak was 'well done'. I took it back and the server girl said she would get the manager. I just showed her the steak (grey looking on the inside) and said"I think we can agree that it's not medium rare". The next steak appeared to be cooked right but it was covered with pepper sauce. The girl said I ordered it with pepper sauce. I explained that if that was the case how did the first steak come with a mushroom sauce? After I scraped the sauce off they gave me the mushroom sauce. What came next can only be described as a 'chew' fest. Their steaks are obviously frozen.so with all this and $75 later, I won't be back. *I did not eat the steak, after having to chew every forkful for over a minute each forkful ended up back on the plate.

Lovely service, comfortable surroundings, fast and yummy food.
A wonderful place to have a meal and a drink. Affordable and convenient for all.
Looking forward to our next catch up there soon.

The Old Narrogin inne was highly recommended to my wife and I.
So we went there and ordered the fish and chips. Honestly the food that got brought out to us was bloody terrible. The fish was oily and the batter was burnt the chef is definately not a cook and the cook is definitely not a chef better to eat elsewhere and just go there for a drink cause they can't stuff that up.

I had the seafood platter. The fish batter had burnt batter specks on the fresh batter and rushed the cooking for it, as the fish wasn't cooked. No home made tarte sauce. It came in a packet. No crab salad just a quarter tomato and a bit of leaves. My husbands ribs were burnt, luckily he was hungry.

Was Expecting alot From This Place, To sit down outside, Next to the Bar. Within The hour. I Witnessed at least 3/5 Girl, s with
The shift change 4/5pm. Not even have the descenty 2 Step out or Away from the Bar&Wipe the table, s down or even the Ash tray, s out. Thought I'd give ordering a meal for dinner A try.

Unedible.
Felt guilty to complain as staff were fantastic.
