42 Their priority is how quick they can get the appointment done and not to treat the patient. I had my app booked for 10am. The doctor called me at 10: 05 and as soon as we start the consultation the doctor explained how they charge and how much medicare refund, etc.
I started explaining my issue and within 5 min the doctor said that she was concern with the time and potentially it would take longer than the 15min standard consultation and if that happens the price would be higher.
I asked her to wrap it up and give me the prescription I needed so I could go away.
I left the room and went to the front desk to pay. By the way, it was 10: 16.
The receptionist gave me a figure for the extended consultation and I refused to pay. She called the doctor, who tried to explain that even though the charge was bigger, the rebate would be bigger, so my cost would be the same.
I told them that it wasn't about the price, cost, or anything like that. However, the doctor was 5min late and spend another 5 min or so explaining how they charge for the consultation, which means I only had 5 to 7 min consultation time with the doctor. They end up charging the standard price, but it pissed me off that all they care about is how quick the can have people in and out.
My advise to people is to look at places who care about your health and not about the turn over.
First time patient today, and the doctor was very knowledgable and knew straight away what was wrong without any ifs or buts.
The receptionist was also very helpful and polite too.
The energy of the place was very pleasant and I will definitely be returning.

Made appointment as looking for a new GP only to have Gp tell he wouldn’t give me repeat scrip for my medication
I suffer from mild Manic depression And take 25 mg dose of seroquel which is a very mild dose I would think any GP worth his salt would indefinitely this as a mild dose A complete waste of my time having left work to make appointment
Lucky was able to get script from another doctor on the same day I have had this script filled by multiple doctors over the years I have been taking it
The front desk staff were wonderful hence the star
Prescribed me the opposite medication and has now my my ear infection worse and my ear more blocked and I’m not stuck half deaf for a week or 2 now so thank you sooooooooo much
Appointment with Dr Thomas today. Put me at ease straight away. Everyone in centre polite and helpful
Didn't enjoy my experience with the medical centre at all. Dr Tun rushed me on the phone and when I did tell her my symptoms she said I don't know how I can help you? What are your symptoms? I said to her I'm telling you my symptoms! I'm like aren't you listening? She tells me to come into the medical centre and get the tube to test for covid which I already told her in the beginning as I self tested at home twice and was positive.
So I go into the medical centre with my mask on and tell the lady's behind the desk I'm here to pick up the tube and test myself. They didn't realise I had covid, they told me to leave I shouldn't be here. I told them Dr Tun told me to pick up the tube and do my test in a room and leave in the box at the front to there unbelieve they couldn't understand why that Dr would have told me to do that. I said yes she told me to come in anyways I get a bill for $150 just for that circus show and never ended up getting no solution for my situation. I then get a medical certificate for one day off! Can you believe that.so then I have to go back to work with covid? Wow! So to summarise all this. Communication was not conveyed to the front desk from that doctor.
My bill should have been $75 only not $150 for what? For me to pick up the tube and be told to leave?
Dr Tun needs to speak to people clearly on the phone and not feel rushed.
The whole experience was very unprofessional.

We have to believe in what you say, unfortunately we have to go elsewhere where we can find a doctor who TRULY CARES!
Not at all impressed with Dr Swe Zin Tun- she wasn’t at all helpful with my requests and was rude, almost snappy about it. This was my first time being at a medical centre here in Perth & that will be my last visit to see her or this medical practice. If you’re tired, fatigued or have other issues going on stay home. Everyone is paying their way nowadays to see doctors - so if you’re going to be a cow about the way you approach people, stay home! The only thing that was great about this medical practice was the lovely ladies at reception- super chilled and understanding.
Dr.wouldn't listen to what I had to say was dismissive and made me feel like I was making it up. Receptionists seemed nice though.
Was put on hold for over 10 mins, when it rang through finally, put on hold again. Rang through again, put on hold again and forgotten about. Please hire a receptionist that can do the job
Attended for vaccination. Dealt with by receptionist promptly. Called in for vaccine almost immediately. Discussed options with nurse who was very polite and friendly.
The Women behind the counter need their positions reviewed and potentially replaced with someone who is keen to work and has some work ethic left in them.they have no motivation or heart for the role. This review is based of 3 years of going to this medical center. You almost feel sorry for them because they are so depressing to speak to and you leave asking yourself what is wrong with that staff member? On the other note, Doctors are always good but constantly rotating around so you never have the same doctor. 1 star customer service.
Staff from reception to doctors and nurses are always friendly and respectful. Always make a visit to the surgery a pleasure.
Worst doctors I’ve been too. Appointment was for my husband who had his first seizure. The doctor kept cutting us off and didn’t receive all the information. His heart rate was 130 and blood pressure very low 47 over 49. They didn’t even take his blood pressure and basically refused to write a referral to the neurologist until he got the MRI report which delays us by another week.mRI had been done and if he gave us the referral we could have got the MRI sent straight to the neurologist. Doctor just seemed as though he wanted us out the door so he could receive his $$. This is rediculous! Who doesn’t even take a patients blood pressure!
I had a Telehealth appointment with a Dr Sangita Thomas, after doing a PCR last week and still very sick I was waiting for her phone call, don’t get me wrong I know doctors run late but I ended up waiting 2.5 hours (might as well be waiting in emergency in hospital) calling reception twice which got me no where. Reception staff didn’t seem too bothered and it’s like I’m in the wrong or I’ve been told to “be patient” you’ve got to be kidding me.
This doctor didn’t bother to call or did the practice to advise me of how late this appointment was going to be I seriously would of called an ambulance which I will be doing now, Dr Thomas is unprofessional, privately bills too no bulk billing with her so she can keep talking and keep charging you more and she knows her rates alright. I have a regular doctor who privately bills but he takes the time and cares and is always on time and I’m happy to pay it. This doctor drags out her appointments and I will be taking this further. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from a “health professional” no wonder she always has time slots available. Thanks for making me have a breakdown too Dr Thomas, your lack of care has happened to the wrong patient. I work in healthcare and have never experienced such un professionalism from a health professional in my life. I would never return to this practice.
From receptionist to Dr, the way I was treated was with utmost respect and efficiency. I will definitely be getting my booster shot done through them. Thankyou.

As we are travelling in our caravan at the moment I booked time slot for my COVID booster on-line, then was sent electronic forms to complete before arrival. Taken on time, just need to wait 15 minutes afterwards to ensure no ill effects, then left. Very smooth process.
