Yagan Square reviews
34Went to the Japanese restaurant. Pretty good actually. Service was quick and food was tasty.
Unfortunately they are doing alot of works around Yagan Square and you couldn't see much from the front ground level.
I went to the free Jazz concert put on by the Ellington Jazz Club last night Friday 6th October at the Ampitheatre
A fantastic family friendly night out with extremely talented musicians and singers.
I wish more people would have came it was such a privilege to have a free event in a wonderful setting with such magnificent talent.
We're so blessed to live in this wonderful city and I do not regret moving here in 2006 ever
Staff friendly and informative, food was delicious, although they did forget the sauce for the steak. But in the whole of scheme of things, brilliant.
Got great directions from Transperth lady on the phone. Was able to find the underground bus station easily.
Great atmosphere, only problem is the businesses don't tend to stay open long enough. Kills the vibrancy of the area when everything shuts at 8pm
It was my Ist time visiting there and I must say I was very impressed. The bistros and coffee shops looked great (although I didn't have a chance to visit any of them yet). The short walk from Perth Station and the new Busport make it easy to get there from any suburb. And of course the short distances from Forest Chase and the Perth Arena make going to the city by public transport in general a pleasure. I will definitely be back there.
Good clean place with a food hall that could do with some better food outlets. The Boss Fish n Chips is always the busiest on weekends. Nice playground for the younger kids there too.
Busy network of trains and buses.cafes in between. On the main edge of the city. Close to everything.
Fastastic place to go to. Plenty off good eateries to cater towards everyones culinary needs. There is plenty of different spots to eat. The service is great as well fast and helpful.
Urban vibes and awesome eateries wherever you look! New and shiny, I learnt to love this place. It's worth to pay special attention to their free community events Perth announces on Facebook.
Go and try the Jersey Jack Gelato there, sooooo yum! Personally, my favorite flavor is seasalt coconut, so tasty and even the color is just amazing!
Finally, the long awaited Yagan square has opened, and Perth is never the same again. Much has changed over the last 30 years, with the train station going underground, gave space for Yagan square, which connects Perth city to Northbridge. It's sort of like the Federation square in Melbourne, but with a distinctive WA touch, use of aboriginal name, and abundant use of WA unqiue and exclusive plants etc. The food option inside their food hall is very good too. As an ex resident of Perth, this visit was very impressive.
Not returning there. Portion is so small and it's too expensive (I am aware it's in the city) It's a nice place to hang out.
But that place is for those looking for expensive snacks while waiting for the games/concert next door.
Great hip place to visit. Food, entertainment, drinks. Yagan Square is very popular, modern and vibrant.
Great for tourists and travellers. 0n the pulse with Bus Depot and Main City Centre Train Station. Fab refurbishment of our City Centre.
It has great dining places (Troublemaker is our favourite!). It also has great views of the city and a fun atmosphere.
My God has Perth needed this. Lovely space with great food and drinks available from a variety of cultures
It is a beautiful place to have a walk and to have a peaceful lunch break. Some beautiful scenary to see from 1st floor. The place was quiet when I was there, Monday lunch time. Businesses dont seem to be doing well. Or perhaps it was simply a rainy day.
A dangerous place after dark. Lots of undesirables hanging around. On Friday Witnessed a homeless woman taking a steak knife of a table at a small bar at the end of the lane on the Roe st side. She then wandered through the bar demanding food and money.
Sunday night watched another incident where a woman (local product) ran 20 meters across Yagan square to push over a bloke she had never seen before in a racially motivated attack (calling him a white c#nt). Police not interested. Stay away from Yagan square if you value your safety.
