Wright's Bridge Campsite reviews
20 Great little camp site. Spacious sites, for vans camper trailers larger groups. Some smaller sites for tents ect. No rubbish anywhere, clean and well looked after, with out sacrificing the bush surrounding the sites. The camp ground drop toilets are clean. The road noise wasn't too bad either considering you are camping just off the road. 2 camp site loops to choose from with around 15 sites in total. Easy access for even a 2wd car. I was there on a Thursday and by friday night/saturday morning the place was almost full.
A walk trail along the edge of the river, a day use area, fire pits, and a large skip bin to dispose of rubbish.
To the camper trailer on the back of a land cruiser if you take your dogs with you, keep them on a lead and also control them ffs, allowing them to bark all night and day, How selfish do you have to be.
Really spacious sites. Different sizes to suit tent or van. Good toilets. Beautiful bush and very peaceful. A camp kitchen would be a nice addition.
Hidden Gem with very well maintained facilities.
Private sites, clean long drops.
Will definitely be back.
Great little camp ground by the river. Fees are payable, and you get long drops plus rubbish service. Pet friendly.
Spent 3 nights here. No power, not great phone reception either which was rather nice. Could truly relax & unwind.
The long drop toilets were cleaned and maintained every day we were there by the ranger, loo rolls fully stocked too.
We had a nice big campsite with a picnic bench and firepit and plenty shadey trees
The river was inviting and great to cool off in. The Kids & I splashed around in the shallow pools and went kayaking in the day use area. My son did get a leech attached to his foot so just be aware.
Our first time camping at Wright's Bridge and we'll definitely be back.
A lovely day stop or over night camping spot. The river is beautiful and the view of the bridge is stunning.
The whole area is pet friendly, on leash only. There are toilets, park benches, fire bbqs and bins provided.
There are several camping spots of all different sizes, suitable for tents, swags, camper trailers and caravans.
We visited in December and there were only a few camping spot occupied.
There is a small camping fee to be paid.
My most favourite campsite so far. I hope it stays so wild as it is. Love that dogs are welcome. The river is lovely. Beautiful country side. Love the abundance of black cockatoos
Absolutely love this place toilets are very clean was quiet when I stayed not far from amazing Nanaup definitely be back camp site are big
Secluded spot for camping in the forest. 15 bays available, two drop toilets of which one is suitable for wheelchair access. Firewood is provided and healed in a central place but gets wet in the weather. $11 per night and adult, $7 concessions.
Great campsite on the Blackwood River. It's in a National Park but dogs are welcome. We stayed in March 2021 and the cost was $11 per person ($7 concession) per night. The sites are numbered and most are large. There's a serviced long drop in the middle.
Beautiful spot one downside it says no generators. Most generators a quiet now days and as long as U turn them off at a reasonable hour I can't see the harm
Arrived after heavy rain.very muddy at the info board and wet ground. Can't put cash envelope for the fee into the box. So we r off this site.
Nice getaway, very quiet with big sites not much water I would say more enjoyable in the cooler months, keeping the dust down.
Great little spot! Clean sites, toilets and BBQ area. Awesome for a kayak and swim! Very majestic!
Lovely bush camp. Clean drop toilets. Not enough water in the river for in March. Late Winter early Spring would be better. The sites arent right on the river either. Overall nice place.
Excellent little spot on the most picturesque spot in the south west. Only downfall was the wood fire cooking but there was a total fire ban. Lucky the bloke next to us allowed us to use his gas system. Will definitely go back in winter
Good if u want space from the other campers and cheap aswell. Though when i went snorkling in the river i came across a smashed bear bottle with the shards poking up. My sister almost stepped on it. So the river is a bit polluted.
Great camping spot. Clean toilets, spacious camping ground. Great for walking, kayak. Dogs allowed
Track from main rd to start of camp site area is single lane dirt track so +20' vans might struggle. Sites mainly suited to tents (1 site had turn-around room for my 15' poptop, another site great if reverse into). No Telstra or Virgin Mobile reception at the camp site. That said, well done Balingup for providing such a pretty spot!
Day use area is nice (but small). Won't be camping there again.worst long drop toilet I've ever been in (and I've been in a few). Poorly signposted, and camping grounds are nowhere near the water.
