I Give two workers my resume and then they proceed to call me saying they have my 2019 resume and if they’d like to send it off to jobs… talk about sabotaging me from any opportunities if they sent through my really old resume. I told them I had given them my latest resume twice and she said “oh I’ll call you back” never called me back.this (I’ll call you back”) yea they never do btw it’s happened on more than 1 occasion. I Have had 2 job interviews this week and they treat me like a criminal because I won’t apply for a job that exceeds the distance I want to travel for a job and they already know this as well because I’ve told them yet they call me up and ask me about a job that’s too far. Want help going for any qualifications? They’ll tell you they are only there to help find you a job and that the manager won’t accept funding you with what you want to do to help you progress through obtaining a skill or certs.

They dont listen to you, dont care about your circumstances, cant get your name correct, give you the opposite job opportunities than what you're looking for and send you a notification of a meeting 1 or 2 days before hand and expect you to drop everything to do the same old rubbish every month. Waste of tax payer money for a service that doesnt care at all

My husband and I who are in our 60's had not been on Centrelink before and we were like fishes out of water and felt terrible. We have always been actively employed or worked for ourselves. We were designated a case officer called Maria in Workskil Mirrabooka and we were so relieved that Maria was a complete breath of fresh air and assisted us greatly in our searching for employment and kept us motivated, even though our chronological ages were against us. We also had the privilege of working closely with Lyndie who gave us huge guidance and direction in attending courses and sound advice. We would also like to thank Tania and Kevin who always made us feel welcome and were so helpful. Being unemployed can be a mental and emotional hazard but thankfully the team at Mirrabooka always made us feel special, thank you to you all.

I was seeking employment with them just over two years ago and they were quite good. They helped me write my resume, paid for my interview clothes and they gave me a going away card when I gained employment.

My recommendation would be to avoid Dhirinder Partap where possible because in my perspective I've found him to be rude and unpleasant to a considerable degree. I saw your response to this review and your staff said a manager would call me back after a meeting and didn't. You made your bed now sleep in it.

My son has the unfortunate pleasure being placed with this company. They do not help in anyway in regards for funding help towards coarses to make yourself more desirable for employment. Please avoid this company. If your unlucky avoid dealing with Bavinder. No help at all

Horrible place with the wrong priorities the manager there is a bitter old woman who tried to make me stop volunteering in a Retail business but there ok with sending me to work for the dole no so called employment agent should tell someone to stop gaining experience and a long term reference and go sit on the couch all day.

During my Employment Skills Training course I was exposed to people who were coming from all different job providers, they were not having to pay a cent towards fuel to get to the course, were able to get interview clothes and find out what stream they were in. Workskil did not provide any of this to me or the two others that also came from Workskil, which makes me wonder - what is the point? Other providers are making actual efforts to help their clients find work but you guys seem happy enough to have one appointment a month and call it a day.
In addition to the person assigned to me made my resume as copy and paste as possible (literally) and missed out key things such as having a skills list - something that I can also confirm was not unique to my experience.
All in all a great place for people who just want to receive government assistance without putting in any work, not so great for people who actually want to find a job.

My friend who goes there for help was told that he/she will need to do their own resume and they are not there to help them. Sorry but what are you guys there for if you won't help people with their resumes. This is on your job description is it not?

I tried to rebook an appointment and the lady on the phone told me i would have to wait until i miss my appointment to rebook (which would 100% get me in trouble with centrelink) today i had my first appointment with Geraldine and she was an angel, she was so helpful and wasted no time trying to help me find work. Give geraldine a raise.

Emailed a week ago (as per email address shown on both on the JobActive listing and their website) with no response, so I went in today and tried to speak with the person on reception about my concerns.

There was not another soul in the reception area that wasn't staff behind their counter, unlike my current/previous provider the reception staff weren't busy answering calls from jobseekers every minute or so (I didn't hear any either) but had to wait a few minutes for the staff member to finish a personal discussion with her colleague.

I am being assigned to this provider from Monday and I wanted to try and work with them to get an initial appointment that doesn't conflict with my classes (I am studying fulltime)

I let the person see my letter advising I had been assigned to them, and had to ask that she give it back when she made it clear she wouldn't help or discuss my concerns further.

She was not willing to take my details, or in helping me to try to prevent a booking with them which I have to reschedule or miss classes to attend. She said that they wouldn't have my information until Monday (to me, a person who might be expected to know alot of my information) and said "we don't even know what stream you are in" (well, one of us does in fact know this)

Rather apprehensive about having to deal any further with WorkSkil Mirrabooka, I feel I've been polite and reasonable, and that trying to sort out a concern in advance is appropriate and reasonable behaviour.

I'll admit I don't know what system/s such businesses are subject to, but even a less apathetic manner would've gone some way to making me less uneasy about the prospect of having to go back there and deal with them again.

The staff member seemed to make no attempt was made to check their assumption that I wasn't in their system yet.

Perhaps if they were as quiet as they looked when I was there, a customer service focused person might've confirmed that I was in fact not in their system, taken my details down in a note (instead of refusing them) and suggested I follow up Monday by email as a reminder to them, providing me with an email address that is actually answered?

For a company that has a role in helping people gaining employment they should spend sometime training the staff they have employed.
If you unlucky to get placed with either Geraldine or Erica ask to be placed with another member of staff.
Geraldine has the inability to return telephone calls or emails and appointments are changed without notice.
Erica also doesn't follow through with issues that are discussed and has attitude to match when any form of problem is raised
NO supervisor has been in contact when a detailed letter was left raising the issue I have had with the team members.
Unfortunately being in a service industry they fail at the basics and seem to happily get away with this poor service.
