One of the worst job providers there is. I have explained to them time and time again and they do not listen. I have no obligations at the moment and they still cut my payments. I have to go in there and explain myself every single fortnight even when there’s an exemption in place. Good luck to anyone who gets put with the service in the future, you’re gonna need it. A very incompetent service, would give less than 1 star if I could.

Good service. Amy the lady that assists me is very good, today she helped me organise my resume. To be honest she did it for me. She's awesome!

Beware! These people will use underhand bullying tactics to ensure they get their bonus points from the government. I was forced onto work for the dole - at one month away from age 65! I was told by the older male "consultant" that there was no alternative as putting me on a course to fulfil my annual activity requirement would be a waste of resources because I was too close to pension age in a year's time to be able to make use of what I studied. I was given two days to decide yes or no, otherwise I was going to be breached. I subsequently found out that jobseekers over 60 can VOLUNTEER to work for the dole, not be forced onto it - but of course the job services provider stands to benefit enormously from placing jobseekers on WFTD, regardless of their age. Fortunately, because of long-standing health issues, I was able to get an assessment done by Centrelink and was moved to a more sympathetic job services provider - but not before I'd had to endure 5 mind-numbingly dull hours in a group of about 60 people from all backgrounds and levels of ability correcting database errors for a Not For Profit organisation in the city, being "supervised" by a patronising 26-year old. How this was going to help me find a job is anyone's guess as I have 40 years' experience in a professional information management capacity, with degree and post-graduate qualifications, etc. No, it was all about ticking boxes by Workskil for their benefit, not mine, and in the 3 times I attended their office in Herdsman I was given no case management or assistance to find gainful employment, just one session of Job Club and at the next appointment being told I had to work for the dole.

Awful office to deal with.

I found a job on my own, they demand payslips.

I ask for fuel assistance, I get ignored.

I contact both the office and post placement support, I get ignored.

All done in retaliation because I have a right to not supply my personal and private payslips to someone I saw maybe once a month.

Beware These places don't care at all about helping you get into the work force nor do they care for your mental health just push you into work for the dole!

I briefly dealt with both Varun and Jess at Workskil during the Covid-19 period. Both were kind, helpful and supportive through an uncertain time. Thanks guys!

INCOMPETENT staff at this office. Missed appointments, IT systems failures and worst of all my wife's profile had that she is "waiting for drug and alcohol treatment"! When she complained and wanted to take a photo they said no and switched the screen off. My wife is dead against drugs and drinks alcohol 2 or 3 times a year. No wonder Centrelink farms out this work so there's no freedom of information access to career damaging, defamatory records. I hope their independent quality assurance auditor sees the BS profile records this business produces and Centrelink revoke their registration/license.
