We love sending our pup to Courtney. He has such a way with dogs and with us. He has given us so much great training to help our rescue dog relax and enjoy life. Highly recommend

Courtney has been a savour for us. When we rescued our pup, we were lost and did not know how to help her and meet her needs. Courtney taught us all we needed to know and we now have a completely different dog and she has grown up so much in such a short space of time. I highly recommend Courtney to everyone for all of your dog training needs.

Courtney has helped us immensely with training our kelpie pup Kloe. We have noticed large improvements in her behaviour in just 4-5 weeks. She is a lot calmer now and well rested. We have also learnt a lot about working dog breed history and psychology which has been very helpful for us to understand her needs. Thanks Courtney!

Courtney from Workingdog Workouts has been training my 2 Dachsunds and me recently. I am so happy with how its all going. He really knows what he is talking about and his down to earth manner makes him so easy to deal with. The change in my boys, especially my very anxious dog has been amazing. I couldnt be more grateful.

We have been taking Courtney's advice for 3 months and can see ongoing results in our Kelpie border collie x, who we got at 6 months. Courtney doesn't just train the dog, he teaches you. Our dog is now crate trained, can be walked without pulling and is much better behaved when meeting new people. We're learning to be leaders and what not to, and what to do. We continue to turn to Courtney for advice (really looking forward to mastering recall in a few months) and take our dog to 1x/week daycare sessions. I appreciate how generous and available Courtney is with his time during drop offs and pick ups at daycare and how responsive he is to text message queries.

So grateful for all of Courtney's help with our rescue puppy Delilah. She is a Staffy x Kelpie x Heeler who we adopted at 5 months of age. We were beyond struggling to manage her separation anxiety and jumping. After our first training session with Courtney, we noticed an immediate improvement in Delilah's behaviour, and we felt empowered to meet her needs. She is now almost 12 months, continues with day care and holiday boarding, and we feel like we have a completely different dog. She is calm, well socialised with other dogs, friendly with visitors, and relaxed when we go out all day. Highly recommend!

I work with Saving Animals From Euthanasia (SAFE) Inc, and first got to know Courtney when I was seeking advice on re training a Kelpie X for SAFE. Since then Courtney has volunteered as a foster carer for several dogs for us. His methods come from training working dogs on farms-some dogs respond well and you can tell they LOVE 'running with the pack'. His methods weren't as successful with a few with more ingrained behavioural issues.

Courtney has been a fantastic help with providing exercise, training and socialisation for my elderly grandparent's dog.
With a 2-year-old heeler living with elderly owners who are unable provide the required exercise, it has been incredibly beneficial to have Courtney so close by and providing such a great service.
I highly recommend Workingdog Workouts and can attest to the amazing passion Courtney has when working with all dogs.

Courtney knows exactly what he is doing and has a lot of knowledge about the dog language. He can change a dog behavior very quickly with a great positive method. I finally found a genuine dog trainer who only want the best for our lovely dogs and make them happier and live longer.
I highly recommend.

I want to highly recommend Workingdog Workouts.
This is a follow up review so please see their FB page for my original review.
We have been following Courtney's techniques for more than a year now and today, I really thought it was worth giving an update.
For those that can't be bothered checking the FB review; essentially we had a fear aggressive, high energy mixed breed pup and a baby on the way. It was very stressful and creating a lot of tension.

The training we received from Courtney has not only saved our little pup but helped her to become a really valued member of the family.

Before his help she would snap at people and other dogs. She still isn't very interested in strangers or strange dogs however we accept that is part of her personality and she is now indifferent and not aggressive.

That said we have had a few new people over and to our surprise she has enjoyed a good pat from them on their first visit (This may not sound like much but that's how bad the situation had been)

The reason we went to Workingdog Workouts initially was because we were scared of how she would go when the baby arrived.

Our little man is now almost 10 months and I am very happy to report that our dog is fantastic with him!
From when we first brought him home she has never acted aggressive or scared towards him.
I still do not like the idea of dogs being un-watched around babies however she leaves him to explore the back yard and when she is allowed she lets him pat her and will lick him given the chance.
It is easy to see she has accepted him as being above her in the pecking order.

Thank you again. You have saved our dog!
