Used to work here while studying some years ago. The activities are great fun for young or old, and there's some real history to go into, whether you're on a guided tour or just want to ask some of the staff.

When I worked there, the majority of staff were fantastic and loved doing what they did. The food was great for canteen style food for large groups of students on school camping trips. Plenty of room for guests to organise their own entertainment as well, with large grassy sections and the beach nearby.

Accommodation can be a mixed bag depending on which dorm you're staying; the worst thing was the swarms of Portuguese millipedes that can carpet the floor of some of the dorms during certain months of the year. The staff do their best to stay on top of this and the beds and ablutions are kept as clean as possible. Wildlife (often the creepy-crawly kind) sometimes finds a way into dark and moist places, such as showers, so just be careful. Mosquitoes and flies can be a problem, recommend bringing bug deterrence, maybe keep shoes elevated and check before putting them on in the morning.
Ever stayed somewhere out in the bush? It's like that. There wasn't air conditioning when I was there either.

Finally, don't worry about ghosts. Oh, but do see if you can get a tour.

Brilliant fun for kids or any group who intends to do the activities, the best of the Dept.of Sports and Rec camps in the area as far as I know, but other camps (such as Point Walter) had better accommodation and were cleaner overall. Highly recommended for schools, youth groups, etc, but less so for groups that don't intend to take advantage of the awesome activities.

THE ACTIVITIES ARE SO MUCH FUN especially the one when we are trying find the code for a medicine forgot what it was called and the staffs are amazing BUT HERES THE SCARY BIT, when we were in my cabin my friends had Polaroid cameras but none of us took a photo with it UNDER THE BUNK BED AND we were not aloud to bring cameras to the activities and we got a photo of the rock climbing room lights and the photo was placed ON THE BED WHEN WE GOT BACK TO THE ROOM AND NO ONE HAS BEEN THERE YET.

I loved this place sooo much. Went here on the 12 of September to the 14th. Amazing Spot for year 6 camp. I loved the flying fox. The only bad things were the tacos, (they’re were way to oily) and the orienteering. The orienteering would of been a lot better if WE COULD OF DONE MORE THAT 2 AT A TIME!
