Wing Bo Chinese Restaurant reviews
60Food was very average rice was extremely soft. Mi Goreng wasn't even mi Goreng was mixed with a curry paste which was extremely strong have been to Chinese restaurants all around this has to be one of the lower grade looks nice inside wirh a nice menu unfortunately the food dosent live up to it being small expensive portions that aren't exactly flavour sum unfortunately wouldn't come back here
I have been using Wing bo for the last five years, with my son and I historically relying on Uber and Doordash, however, I decided that it was time to start simply getting my own take out rather than delivery. Today I have had a horrendous experience with daytime staff (again). I asked to speak to the manager (I'm not sure this is the store manager - might have been shift manager). Both men have an appalling approach to customer service. I'm not sure if I will return to Wing Bo, definitely not for the lunches, POSSIBLy the evening when the women are working, they have much better customer services skills, attention to detail, prompt friendly and helpful. No complaints about the evening staff unless its a handover when the young man is out the front or answering the phones. What made it worse today a customer complained that someone had vomited in the hand basin in the ladies toilets, and the response was not one that I felt was adequate. Simply an acknowledgement of vomit but no rushing to organise a cleaner for the customer comfort experience.the gentleman in question told me "you customers think Your are god". I told him a good business is reliant on good will of the customer and when they treat their customers the way they did me.then they aren't going to keep their business long. I hate to think how much money my son and I have injected into their business over the last five years.
I ordered the sang Choi bow and straight up the lettuce was brown. For a $20 dish I expected more meat and fresh lettuce. Appalling
Don’t usually like to leave reviews but I just have to this time. Family ordered Uber eats, arrived fairly quickly. We soon then realised something was missing and it was the fried rice (the main dish for us). We called them up saying it was missing and they were just absolutely rude and blamed it on the delivery guy. The bag was stapled tight and the bag was far too small to fit all the food we ordered. Our total was very expensive for what we ordered and was quite soggy and bland. Will not be ordering again
This restaurant refuses to take responsibility for its mistakes. We ordered UberEats and the restaurant did not put the rice in the bag. The bag had not been tampered with at all so we know it was the restaurants fault. We contacted them so fix the situation and they refused to accept their mistake and would only shift the blame.
This place will forget your food and refuse to refund you. DO NOT GO HERE.
Wingbo was known as one of the best Chinese restaurants, but it was bland and so disappointing. Even my kids said it was tasteless and seemed microwave reheated. Never again. Would of been better to go across the road to McD's.
We had dinner yesterday. The foods was very salty and dry. We had chow mei, japanese sizling tofu and salt n pepper pork. I think they have different owner and chef. The foods used to be nice and friendly.
I always get the special fried rice and it's ready in 5 minutes time. They are tasty but sometimes little salty. Over all good food.
I’ve never left a review before, but as a local it’s disappointing how the food continues to get worse at this restaurant. My takeaway was so bland and filled with carrots and peas. To save it, I made my own Chinese stir fry sauce and extras at home, and recooked the meal to give it some flavour.
I never leave reviews but this time I have too. The food was absolutely terrible everything was bland even the spring rolls, we order from here often and have never experienced something so terrible. I won’t be ordering any take out again after this experience and definitely never from wing bo.
It's OK. My sweet and sour pork was pretty average and the sauce didn't have any pineapple or vegetables in them. The duck was quite nice though.
Like others I have been a customer for many years but the new ownership has let quality of food and service drop. It's gone from tailored shirts and polished shoes to steel cap Work Boots with matching shirts and jeans. Food. The menu is the same but the quality is gone. Sorry you lost my family
Very good flavours and great quality ingredients. Totally recommend trying the plum duck and hot and sour soup
We love this restaurant but the prices have gone through the roof and most Chinese restaurants give you free prawn crackers I’m a loyal customer but I won’t be ordering from them anymore
A very disappointing takeaway experience. Menu prices have changed.
A shadow of its former self.
Fast service. Love the food here. Tried the chicken fried rice, egg fried rice and the NasiGoreng special fried rice. Absolutely loved the taste.
Wing Bo would have to be the best service, decore and food I have ever eaten. Highly recommended.until last night.unlike most restaurants now they insisted on seeing our covid certificates. One of us left their phone home. Most similar venues including one major city eartery I went to tonight did not insist.
I will never go back to Wing Bo as we were forced to get a take away and eat in the car. Shame on you. Plus the Szechuan Beef which is always amazing was like beef jerky with a tablespoon of sauce. We had to give it to the dog.
Was so disappointed when my order arrived, for $18 I got half a serve of very bland San Choy Bow and 2 lettuce leaves. I did call to express my displeasure and was met with indifference. I also ordered Singapore Noodles, again very bland except for the very gritty curry powder. Over all $36.50 for indigestion. Won't be ordering ever again.
They are the best friendly. Their food is a big serving. I love their garlic king Prawns. Special fried rice.
I consider myself as a good customer, especially when Nelson was still around but as wasn't in the area frequently anymore, yesterday was the first visit in the last (maybe) 2 years.
The atmosphere was still the same, still with quick service and now with hand sanitizer on each table. Happy with that.
When our favourite fried wonton came, I could feel something has changed. Followed by other dishes where nothing taste good or satisfactory let alone special. What surprised me more was when paying the bill.
I'm totally fine with the number I have to pay but with the taste and quality of food I had, enough to say - I'm not coming back.
