Windarra Honey reviews
45 Friendly and informative owner, I realised that I did not really know that much about bees!
Nice various tasting honeys, reasonable prices and good advice on packing to take overseas.
My mum and the kids went to visit and they say every time we have the honey they bought "the lady was the nicest lady in the world". They told me all about seeing the queen bee, the hives and being able to taste allllll the different honey
Thank you
Love supporting small family run places. Great people. Fresco-Sparkling Honey drink is a favourite to get as well as the beautiful honey. Yum
You can be assured that Windarra honey is 100% in quality. Good *pure *raw *unprocessed *non heated honey and I eat approx 500g + each week so I know my honeys and over the years Ive tried different honey suppliers I have found Windarra Honey a top grade product and at a bloody good price. My favorites = Jarrah and Bush honey. Not a better Jarrah honey in WA and the bush honey is something special. Shop in confidence buying a superb product from good old fashion honey producers who look after their customers. Glen
I thought they were selling pure honey, but recently, I found out that they also add SUGAR to their honey. Please check the crystals for your reference.
It's very shameful
Lovely honey matched with a wealth of experience and friendly and helpful service.honeybees great and loved our chats.
Amazing visit to Windarra Honey! Had a short tasting session, and some brief introduction to bees & honey, which helped me identify the type of honey I prefer. Bought a bottle and it was well wrapped and protected for a flight home.
What a delightful experience. The honey is fantastic. Very well priced. What makes it special is the kind and sweet owners. Very nice experience for kids and the whole family!
Very friendly owners and not at all pretentious. The owners were happy to talk about where the honey comes from and they had a lot of different types to taste for free. Delicious honey, will be back.
A wonderful experience! Liz the owner is salt of the earth, a wonderful educator and experienced honey expert! Delicious honey too! We bought them out!
We bought some Jarrah honey and honey soda drink.
Price acceptable with good quality of honey.
Very knowledgeable owner and explains the differences between each type of honey.
Kudos to him.
Very nice couple! Great service and price! You won't regret trust me! Thanks guys keep it up the good job!
Earnest owners who are very proud of their products and were happy to share their knowledge. Glad we visited this place!
Family owned business and the owners are super friendly and shared where the honey comes from and the seasonality of it. There are different types of honey and what’s available this year may not be available next year due to the weather and the type of flowers. Prices are reasonable, Windarra avoids putting hives in areas sprayed. It is good to know the origin of the honey and that it is unadulterated.
There’s another honey shop nearby which has a cafe and ice cream to chill out and is rather touristy, suitable for those who want items in pretty packaging. Windarra wins in quality and I went out learning something new. Free tasting and I can taste distinct flavours between the different flowers. I try to get unprocessed honey because many generic brands dilute or has no clear region of origin. Will come by again if I’m in the area. It’s a pity the honeycomb is not yet available!
The owners are knowledgeable beekeepers who are also tremendously warm and friendly. We tasted different types of honey and stocked up on our honey supplies here. Good quality, reasonably priced.
My partner (a keen honey consumer) and I visited and tried some of the various honeys, which were explained by a lovely, cheerful saleswoman. We certainly learned somethings about honey but probably left with more questions about the process than answers! I did want to learn much more about the active honey, including the prices to potentially buy it, however the saleswoman was distracted by another customer in conversation and it was difficult to get her attention despite waiting a while. It was quite special to see the bees in the frame within the shop - certainly didn’t expect that!
The owner is friendly.
The honey is good quality. We don't want to buy from the super market.
We finished the first 1kg jar of Jarrah honey and started the second one.
The first benefit is I am getting nicer, more hydrated and smoother skin. My skin is whitening naturally and from inside.
The second benefit is for my chronic sore throat.
The third benefit is for my stomach.
Nice offering, and the owners are friendly and highly knowledgeable.
A few comments about being expensive. I feel Windarra is not expensive in the slightest for quality honey, but then again I'm not broke or struggling to get by. Very well priced and good personable service.
Honey is so yummy! They also have a great range of honey products, such as bee pollen, bees wax and more. The owners are so friendly, knowledgeable and are very happy to help. Honey tasting is offered so you are able to pick the which honey you like best. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be going back
Not the best honey and a little expensive. Worth a visit for the experience and to meet the friendly owners and enjoy a tasting.
