Williams Woolshed reviews
50Takeaway coffee from the drive through was the worst cpffee we have ever had - bitter. Need to change your coffee supplier
Friendly staff. Very clean and food delicious. Can definitely recommend the Ice coffee with ice cream and cream.
Very enjoyable lunch and next time I will tap and order my meal! The Thai Beef Salad was delicious and filling. They have vegetarian option like vegetarian burgers and a vegetable slice. Good service and friendly, helpful staff.
A well-known “stop along the way” to Albany and the Great Southern, but with mixed quality in food*.
Happy to recommend the pies and pastries, which are a good pick!
*The bread on my open sandwich could have been better, and others on the table weren’t as satisfied with their burgers.
Great place to grab lunch while on a long journey, plus plenty of options if shopping is your fancy.
A great environment with a variety of salesgoods and great cafe. Professional staff and great service.
Cafe and shop have gone from strength to strength over the years. Take a break from the trip to have some homemade food (sausage rolls are a fave), and check out the various quality wool clothes available for sale.
Stopped here in may way back to Perth from Bluff Knoll. Great place to have breakfast and coffee. You get a few small shops where you can get some goodies for the family. Great environment inside and the bathrooms are super clean.
Good coffee. Big delicious toasted Sandwich. Can be very busy at time. Lovely Australian made products and books to purchase.
Had the beef salad. It was great.
The venue is really nice staff friendly. We'll worth a stop and great way to break up the drive between Perth and Albany
Great place to stop on your way to Albany. Williams is the first major town after Armadale so by the time you get here you need somewhere to rest and this is the place to do it. Good coffee, decent food and a playground for the kids makes this a welcomes rest stop. Highly recommend the sausage rolls.
Woolshed heaps of fun, stocked up on honey and filled up on Reuben, Cuban sandwiches and home made pies/sausage rolls. Large delicious serves, prompt service and coffees in giant mugs. Perfect for stop, sunshine and leg stretch. Big sandpit at rear great for dogs and kids #petfriendly
Quick stop for a cup of coffee on the way to Albany. Can be quite crowded during lunch time but there's now a nice park a couple of hundred metres down the road.
Very popular stop off point on the Albany Highway. We had the locally in-house made pies. I really recommend their pies. We were all very happy with our selection. Our long black coffees were also good. I specifically stopped there again on our return trip to have another pie it was that good. I can't comment on anything else as that was all we had.
There is a drive through coffee place at the Williams wool shed. I stopped for a coffee on my way to Mount Barker. They make a really good coffee and they have a wonderful selection of gourmet pies and other food for the weary Traveler.
Food in the cafe was as expected, great. Worth the wait on a busy Sunday. A little disappointed that there were not many local products for sale in the shop.
Don't eat here! Actually do, but be warned they have ruined toast for me forever! I had the shearers breakfast, minus spinach and mushrooms.
It was great, nicely presented and cooked, the eggs had just the right amount of run, very important, the sausage could have been browned more, but was super tasty, the toms had a bit too much seasoning for the time of day, but again super tasty.
Now on to the toast, I don't know what the hell was going on here, but I loved it! The crust was AMAZINg, the right amount of chew, but it also kinda disintegrated in your mouth, kinda like meringue ️ I don't know what is was, but I want it for breakfast everyday! A solid 8.78 out of 10!
Excellent venue. Food made fresh, high quality ingredients, good value. Coffee is better than most on the drive to Albany.
Retail outlet is expensive but all items are such that you would expect no less - for the softest, loveliest Merino, Possum blend shawl I was prepared to pay the asking price.
High quality establishment on all fronts - making the stop in Williams a great experience. Will include in my schedule for every trip south.
Just a manic cattle call of grey nomads. I got literally pushed out of the way at one stage haha. We got a pie and fritatta from the Cafe.the pie was ok, but the fritatta was unedible. My parter took one bite and wanted to throw it out. I assumed she was being dramatic, so I tried it, and completely agreed. The shop looked ok, but not really anything we would want to buy.
We wouldn't come here again.
