We celebrated our wedding anniversary dinner there on a weekday evening and it was quite a full house. The restaurant's ambiance was relaxed and created the perfect backdrop for our celebration. Exploring the menu, we found an array of dishes that were not only visually appealing but also offered a variety of flavors that pleased our taste buds.

The standout moment of the evening was the dessert – I really loved the combination of different flavours in it. Our waiter played a significant role in enhancing our experience, he was pleasant and attentive.

The complimentary tea bags were also a nice touch to end the night, especially when I'm a tea person.

In summary, Wild Flower offered not only a delightful culinary journey but also an inviting atmosphere coupled with friendly service. For those seeking a charming setting and memorable dining experience, I would recommend them.

We did the tasting menu and overall everything was delicious, an explosion of flavors and high quality. The quantities are small. The views are incredible and the service very friendly!

We went to the Wildflower for my friend’s 30th birthday on our visit to Perth. The food was good all together, the ingredients were fresh.
The restaurent had a very nice feel and atmosphere.
But I think in my opinion way too expensive for a fine dinning. I think I could have eaten similar in a normal restaurent. Well presented tough.
My favorite part of the dish was the duck. The deserts were really nice too. The staff were very caring, making sure we always had what we need. We were served bread several times. The bread and butter was good.
The main issue for me was the wait between the meals that I felt was extremely long each time. And we didn’t always understand what the waiter was saying when they explain each meal. I think the menu should be explained at the beginning more in details. And maybe have the same person explain each meal.
Overall good.

Overpriced and overrated. We had the 6 courses with wine pairing. Staff were lovely and very attentive. The food didn’t live up to our expectations and I can’t say I was raving about any of the courses. Some of the courses were lovely but for what you are paying I just didn’t see the value. The wagyu beef tasted more like roast beef and lacked flavour - although we were warned it wouldn’t be flavourful, I was still expecting more. I can’t say I was overly impressed with the wine pairing, we drank some lovely wines however I’m not sure they complimented the food well. I’m glad I’ve tried it now but I wouldn’t return. I was also starving after 6 courses - although I didn’t eat the duck. Old Young’s in the Swan Valley does a much nicer native set menu which is delicious and better value. The venue and view was beautiful, chairs were hard and not super comfortable. The atmosphere was intimate and cosy for a cold winters night, the dim lighting also set the mood.

What a disappointing experience. We came to Wildflower tonight (Thursday) because we heard great reviews from locals, colleagues and also online. I am telling you do not even waste your money or time!
We had the four course degustation and from starter to main was a disappointment. The chickpea was dry…you seriously need a beverage or else you will choke! Don’t know how anyone can go wrong with the mushroom pancetta and truffle but it did - it was a tasteless mess. It was so bad that we asked for our bill and left the place halfway through our main because it was horrible. And what can I say about the service, from the minute we sat down we had to place our own napkin (for $200 ahead that’s the least I would expect) after each course they asked us if the food was great and didn’t even wait for our response. When I asked to speak to the manager, he first approached us saying “I hear you were upset” yet didn’t take the time or courtesy to seek us out asap…instead he did not introduce himself and he proceeded to gaslight us. When I complained about the service he just said “oh that’s unusual ” and then stated that only one table out of the venue was disappointed. Once they knew we were unsatisfied they repeatedly asked us “what can we do” instead of offering us, the customer, the solution…since when is it our job to tell them how to do adequate customer service. No alternative menu items were offered or change service. Considering this is a fine dining establishment & a special occasion, we have left hungry, despondent & also a bad taste in our mouth. Save your money & time & go to some of Perth’s other great establishments for half the price such as Le Rebelle or Uma.

We loved the whole experience of food, venue, staff and accompanying drinks. We’ll definitely be back.

Great view. Great Food. Service was good for me - They remembered that I noted down it's for a special birthday occasion! (Saw the other reviews about poor service - Not sure so can't comment on those)

Great dinner experience with fine decor and a killer view. The atmosphere is mixed depending on where you're seated as you may be seated quite close to other tables so conversations may not be too private. The menu is well thought out with emphasis on local seasonal ingredients so it was a nice educational experience but not gastronomically mind blowing.

Exquisite! Everything was beyond expectation. 6 course with wine pairing was superb - highly recommended for a special occasion.

As one of Perth's premier fine dining restaurants, Wildflower lives up to expectations with dishes bursting with flavour from the thoughtful use and presentation of fresh, quality ingredients. No dish disappoints, the staff are helpful and knowledgeable, and the drinks eminently imbibable. Simply a must for Perth's foodie scene.

We had the four-course lunch menu and it was sublime. A beautiful view, lovely service and truly amazing food. Cannot wait for another excuse to return.

Had dinner 6 course degustation menu, a bottle of wine, a mocktail and sparkling water. Total damage $860+

Food is mediocre. Fish is overcooked and doesn't pair well with the sides. Lamb is so hard and gamey. Dessert is sugar bomb that I refused to eat.

Service is disaster.
Tap water was refilled, though we had sparkling water in our glasses. So it became a weird mix.
Several waiter/waitress kicked my chair a few times. The table next to us was empty, so there was more than enough space to move around without kicking.
One of the waitresses walked away before finishing the dish explanation.
When a waitress kept our bread plates, she took away 3 of the plates and forgot mine. I had to request again for it to be taken.
We were served a younger vintage wine when we ordered older. No checkin with us when it was served. No explanation was given when we later found out. Finally, defensive excuse was provided when we asked again.
Waitress only cleaned bread crumble for 1 person, not the other 3, and threw the placemat back to the table.
Waitress rolled her eyes and looked at her watch when I tried to get her attention.
Completely forgot my birthday though we mentioned in the booking. When we asked, no apology was given. The waiter only asked us if we wanted the same Petite 2 again with a candle. I refused.

I am comoclub member and usually try to support Singaporean hotel chain. But I could not recommend visiting this restaurant especially for special occasion celebration.

Great experience, much better than expected. One of the best restaurants that I have been in Australia. We really loved the 6 dishes menu and the wine pairing was great. Also, very kind staff. Highly recommended.

One of Perth's best food experience, top stuff. A memorable occasion. Food in accordance with First Nation seasons.

My meal at Wildflower was certainly among the top five meals of my life, and probably one of the top three.

It was also one of the most rudderless, with menu descriptions reading like complete gibberish. Finger lime, sea blight, kohlrabi, and macadamia milk with my blue crab? Red emperor with a garlic squid ink waffle? And perhaps the most perplexing, botrytis semillon custard with lemon aspen and toasted sandalwood? ! As my mom put it, that sounds like a disease, not a dessert. I had no idea what any of it would taste like.

Some of the confusion is the function of my not being Australian and therefore not being familiar with local Western Australian ingredients, which this restaurant uses exclusively. But the rest is due to a creative, whimsical chef who knows how to choose those underutilized ingredients that are underutilized for reasons other than being unappetizing, and also to make seemingly unrelated tastes marry perfectly.

I certainly wouldn't choose, for example, to drown my crab in nutmilk, or to consume a fungus-ridden grape meant for wine directly in a custard. But I should. And you should too.

Even the table starter bread is well-thought out, coming with macadamia-encrusted butter.

Each dish is meticulously crafted and sized to disappear JUST as your mouth has gotten accustomed to the flavors (after it's rolled them around, savored them, questioned them, counted them individually, and savored them again). No salt, bitter, or sour taste overwhelms any of the others - everything is perfectly balanced.

That is, until dessert, when the unabashed alcoholicness of the custard takes over, briefly, until it's culled by herby sandalwood, sour apricot, and sweet woody lemon aspen. While I love neither dessert nor alcohol under normal circumstances, this may have been my favorite course.

By far the best fine dining restaurant I've been to. The paired wines really compliment each dish. Will definitely go back. An incredible experience.

Friendly service. Food was amazing! We got the 6 course degustation. The portion sizes were perfect. Loved the blend of flavours. Absolutely loved the different cocktail flavours.
Price was high but we were happy to pay as we believe it was worth it. Windows did make it a bit glarey as far as ambience but didn't add any disappointment to the day
All round great experience and look forward to doing it again

I haven't dined at this restaurant, but treated myself last Thursday, late afternoon, to a couple of cocktails. This was my second cocktail visit, and won't be the last! As it was only 5pm, the balcony area was quiet and I had it to myself.
Service was exceptional and both staff who looked after me were professional and courteous. The floor manager /maitre'de/senior waitperson (unsure of his standing) was knowledgeable of all things alcohol, and a true delight to engage in conversation with him. Sensational martini, spectacular view.

Wildflower makes all the other restaurants in Perth look like McDonalds.

The food and especially the wine/mocktail pairings were sensational. Best meal and experience we have had in a long time.

The staff were very friendly and genuinely interested by their jobs, and were very knowledgeable about what they were serving.

I have been 'told' we will have to return.

My family and I went for a dinner here after finally deciding to fork out a bit of money after hearing so many good things.

We went with the degustation course but we have before the booking let the restaurant know that I eat only pescatarian or vegetarian. On the night we were asked again if there is any dietary requirements and I repeated mine again and we agreed on Pescatarian set.

To start, complimentary appetizers was served for the table which had a duck pate of sort, which was fine and I didn’t worry to much about as it was complimentary and I just gave my portion to my brother. When the actual degustation meals started it went well. The first was vegetarian meal for all, then a pescatarian meal where they served gold band snapper for all with the second. Then the third meal came where the first difference between servings were: my family all had lamb and I was served fish - but it was gold band snapper again. I was slightly disappointed being served the same fish again but was fine with it because I understood that pescatarian requests would be small and would be difficult to cater for on a limited basis. So I just enjoyed the meal and it was very tasty.

But when the fourth meal and final main came, they served us all duck breast. This time I did say something and that this was not pescatarian as requested. They offered to take the duck back and serve me something else but I said I will just eat the duck because ethically I did not want the meat to just be thrown away and have the animal died for nothing (which I regretted later because I got sick after not eating any red meat for 3 years).

They did in the end subtract the cost of the duck meal to make up for the mistake which I did appreciate very much. Wildflower was really good, however, for the cost and reputation I did expect a better standard. Mistakes are made all the time and is normal, but I would just say that for what you pay here you expect a bit more care taken when dietary requirements are requested, and find other ways to not repeat the same protein, whether a more sophisticated vegetarian option is served instead of the same protein. Just something to consider.

Overall a pleasant experience. The food was tasty, all though I am not sure if it met the reputation. Customer service was good.
