Wild Swan at Mandoon Estate

We had our staff Christmas party here for the third year running. It's a fantastic location, the food is always great, the staff very friendly and it's reasonably priced.

We went here for the degustation menu for our anniversary. We did the paired wine option. Everything from the mini pallet cleansing starter to the last dessert was decadent. Flavours swirled around with every bite, the combination of the wine in between sips so perfectly balanced. The food was perfect happiness in every bite, you can taste and see the love in the creations.
The wine served was from the winery and it was perfect, the flavours prominent playful.
The staff from the moment you enter are incredible attentive, well spoken and so incredibly friendly.
We look forward to coming back again.

We were well looked after and the atmosphere was pleasant, thanks to the 2011 Grenache but the food left us wanting as it was hit and miss. In particularly, the rankin cod was an underwhelming dish - it was overly fishy and serving it coated in a broth was the wrong format. It rendered the dish tasteless and I didn't eat it. The bread was sensational, the entres solid, wagu / lamb not bad and deserts nice. However, everything has to be perfect to hit 5* - the fish dish was a real let down.

Congratulations to all the staff, service, chefs, everyone. We were so very impressed. A quiet, elegant restaurant with professional, friendly, considerate serving staff that were generous with their time and wine tastings and the food was incredible. I can not believe we haven't eaten here before. Note to the chef, 5 stars for asking about the carb count and offering gluten free. Very attentive. Your cooking was delightful.

First time at Wild Swan Mandoon Estate yesterday (17.9.23) and the whole experience did not disappoint. Two and a half hours of simply gorgeous food, wine and service. We had the Tasting Plate and recommended paired wines. Looking forward to returning again. Well done to the chef's and all the staff at Wild Swan.

I live in the swan valley and have never experienced such amazing flavours of the food at the wild swan restaurant, our family of 5 visited today for my birthday and we were wowed with flavour, service and the drinks menu is outstanding. Thank you so much

Great vibe and awesome food. Staff were professional and friendly, giving good recommendations and detailed explanations of dishes. Having a picnic or a stroll after meals is also recommended. Would love to revisit.

My partner and I had lunch hear yesterday for our Anniversary of 3 years.

Had the tasting menu and wine pairing with my husband and 2 friends. Cannot fault the service, the food and the wine. I am coeliac but had no issues with the menu and even had freshly made GF rolls. The waiting staff were extremely knowledgeable on the food and wine and explained each course in detail. Excellent use of native ingredients will definitely be back.

We went to a wedding at Mandoon estate. The pizzas before the reception were very good (5/5). The food at the reception was 4.5/5. The whole wedding and reception was as close to perfect as you could get.

The actual service staff.are the best in Perth.such wonderful staff. The food was cooked perfectly and the presentation was lovely. But unfortunately the actual menu was terrible.terrible tasteless menu.change the menu and it would be the best in Perth

What makes a good restaurant? Well to me it's not just about the food, it's the whole package. The food, the wine list, the staff, the ambiance and if there is a slip up, how it is handled is also very important.

This weekend, Wild Swan at Mandoon Estate in the Swan Valley ticked all the boxes. Even the wine tasting was much better than previous experiences.

My wife and I chose exactly the same dishes.

Donnybrook Marron: Sensational! Especially the Sobrasada (Spreadable Chorizo) sauce. This was amazing.

Main
Lamb Rump: Tender juicy lamb, with tasty native greens and a very flavoursome jus.

Wine
2012 Cabernet Merlot: Absolutely delightful.

Staff
Very professional, friendly and attentive.

We will be very happy to return.
