Ordered the sea platter for two only to have a big log of bread in the middle. Feels pretty stingy. For the price you pay, you really ought to get more actual seafood.

Was a busy Friday night so the staff where under pressure but still friendly and helpful. Everyone enjoyed there meals on the table, I had the couscous salad which had great flavours and would definitely get again.

We dined on Wed night. We were told by the wait staff that there were only 2 chefs on that night and if we didn't want to wait, then to order as soon as we could, which we did.
The wait staff were excellent and most looked very young. The food came out promptly and OMG. The food was amazing. This comment came from all 6 of us. And we are still telling people about it. Everything was cooked to perfection. It has been a long while since all 6 of our group have had a meal that we couldn't get enough of. And all said so.
We will be back.

I called to see if I could book a table for 2 for Valentine's Day at 6pm. I was told only an outside table was free but when we got there, there was only stools at a bench. The girl checked if we could sit inside and was offered a table inside which was reserved for 7pm. We were offered this table and gladly accepted it. The service was excellent. We were served fairly quickly and got our drinks quickly. Our food orders were taken and served within 1/2 an hour. We ordered the garlic bread and Seared Barramundi. We loved them and very much recommend them both. We'll be back ️

My partner and I came here for Valentine’s Day- I had the prawn and crab pasta and he had the steak sandwich. The prawn linguine was the best one I have ever had. I was a bit sceptical as I’ve had some bloody brilliant ones but this place did not let me down. My partner had the steak sandwich was delicious well cooked but not chewy or gritty he described the sauce for the steak sandwich as “interesting but very good”. The service was amazing very nice and funny staff members thank you for a delicious meal and compliments to the chef.

Went there for a drink. Overlooks the ocean and has an area that is dog friendly. Great ace for a drink and a meal on hot night.

The Pretty Posh Princesses Red Hat Ladies enjoyed their Christmas Dinner Menu at The White Salt in December 2022. The booking process was so easy and we were helped every step of the way until we finalised numbers and our menu. On the night the service was fabulous. The staff were so friendly, efficient and helpful. The food was absolutely fabulous and washed down with a wine or three. Everything about the evening was very professional and we are looking forward to a return visit in 2023. A great way for a group to enjoy Christmas festivities without doing any work. High recommended.

My two friends and I had a lovely lunch as always. The service was excellent, food delicious and it was good value too. One of my favourite beachside restaurants.

The service was top tier all the staff made sure we were seen to even after we received our food, quick to clear away after each course and made sure we stayed hydrated (haha) and the food was to die for, I started with the sourdough bread and dips which I couldn’t eaten with a spoon and my partner had the oysters with red wine shallots which were so fresh, for mains my partner had the Laksa which he very much enjoyed and I had the duck three ways and mouthwatering doesn’t begin to cover how good this meal was and with a gorgeous sunset view of the ocean we couldn’t have asked for a better date night, we will be back again if that wasn’t already obvious

I went here for dinner. Waiters very attentive, they gave the kids a colouring pack to keep them busy. Table service was great with drinks. Food was amazing. Would highly recommend this place. Overall a very nice meal out.

After an underwhelming experience last time we visited White Salt last year we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and go again as the location is so beautiful. Unfortunately the experience was pretty disappointing. Coffee wasn't great. My husband and my friend ordered scrambled eggs, which were below average. I ordered the beans with babaganoush and poached egg. I stirred it up and when I took a bite it was obvious that one of the ingredients had gone bad. It tasted rancid. It took ages to get someone to speak to. To their credit, they took the dish back and didn't charge us for it. I didn't want to eat anything else from the restaurant. Staff were nice enough however service was very slow and then nonexistent. It was extremely hot and stuffy in the restaurant to the point where we were sweating through our clothes and no one came with water or to check how things were going. I felt very dehydrated and unwell when we left. 1 star for the location, 1 star for the kids waffle, which my son enjoyed. Perhaps they were having an off day.

We were so fortunate to be able to celebrate our office Christmas Lunch at White Salt Café Restaurant. The food was excellent and the service impeccable. Our staff are planning on when they can book in to sample more of your great menu. A big thank you to Claire and your amazing staff.

I just had the gluten free truffled gnocchi, and my partner had the pork "Boston butt" & pork bites. I'll quote him " - I don't know what's going on with this pork, but it's absolutely amazing! " Some of the best meals we've had on our two weeks holiday in Perth. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

Had a Lunch date with a dear friend yesterday and we enjoyed every minute. The food was delicious and so reasonably priced. We started with bread and dips and we both had the King Prawn Risotto, Yum! The staff and ambience were great and love being by the ocean. Will definitely be returning. Thank you all for such a pleasant experience.

Friendly service. Let down by very bland green curry with dry fish and no bok choi as described in menu. Main service person behind bar wore his mask under his chin the entire time I was there, whilst signs everywhere demand masks MUST be worn. Wouldn't go back.
