We are a family of three and this was our first trip with our just turned one baby boy, we loved our farm stay at White dog lane's as our baby couldn't be any happier, he explored safely around, played and fed the lambs, goats, ponies and of course the high light of all the farm animals: Luchia the white dog.
Suzanne and Brian are the kindest hosts ever, they welcomed us with freshly baked scones and a well warmed and prepared cottage.
If you have little ones and are after a lazy quiet place to spend your holidays, here is your destination, try it and love it as we did.

We thought we would break up out trip with a couple of nights at a farm stay and what an amazing experience.
The cottage itself I could only describe as something out of a story book. From the 1900 style veranda to the pioneer style furniture mixed with some very stylish modern touches and facilities it was simple beautiful. The spa was a godsend after camping for two weeks.

Every amenity was provided from a variety of tea and coffee to quality shampoo, robes the list goes on, it seems that there is nothing that hasn't been thought of.
Sussane even brought over freshly cooked scones with home made jam and that was just icing on the cake for me.

The moment we arrived we were met by Sussane and given a small tour of the farm. Throughout our stay the kids got to feed the lambs, goats and chicken, collect eggs and almost claimed ownership of the beautiful white dog walking it around the cottage having a wonderful time together.
Brian bent over backwards ensuring we had a great stay and would call the kids over to feed the baby lamb at feeding time as it was their favorite thing to do.
We explored the property on nice walks and caught some fish in the river.
A general store 2 mins up the road selling fuel, alcohol, bait, pizzas, burgers and everything inbetween and only 15mins from Albany town centre.

If this was a chocolate factory we got to visit Charles chocolate factory as it was a truely magical experience. We didn't want to leave and go back to our normal and ordinary lifes!

Thankyou Sussane and Brian for such an awesome experience.

Stayed here a couple year's ago during Easter. In a great location a short drive from Albany. Sue & Bud are fabulous guests. The house itself is fantastic, you will not be disappointed. Already planning to return:)
