Do you remember when businesses phoned and talked to you directly about their service, who their provider was going to be, what time they would arrive, follow up phone calls to coordinate entry to the property and again to clean up? Not surprising if you don't because it's been a long time since I've experienced that level of personal service myself. On top of that, the crew, and particularly the DJ (Aly) appeared to really enjoy their work. Can't recommend this business highly enough.

Our wedding day was amazing. It went by so quick I could have kept going all night.

DJ Morgan was great and everyone loved the music. The funny thing was, the music got changed pretty much from the outset which was fine. We realised we needed to play more of what the guests were after rather than what we thought we wanted. DJ Morgan was great and very accommodating and everyone was up dancing and having an amazing time which is what we wanted so from our perspective a complete success so thank you.

Hosted my 70th Birthday and was allocated Zac.he was absolutely enthusiastic and took plenty of requests! He never veered from the chosen genre. Legend!

After engaging Western Sounds for our wedding we would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a DJ for their event! John was amazing to work with in the lead up and our DJ Jacob had the dance floor going strong all night!

John and team organised a gig with 2 days notice, awesome professional service, DJ Zac produced the goods and had the smoke machine and mirrorball, great night, Mrs was happy

We used Western Sounds for my husband's 60th birthday party. I knew I had come to the right place when John answered the call. He was just so easy and calm to talk to and after hearing the brief he arranged for an awesome DJ (Morgan) for our party. Morgan was friendly, professional and very responsive to our requests. The crowd participation was amazing – our guests hardly left the dance floor. Thank you Western Sounds and Morgan for a night to remember – our party was a huge hit. We would definitely use Western Sounds again and highly recommend them to our friends and families.

John from Western Sounds was an absolute legend to deal with. He was calm and reassuring in the lead up and assigned someone to DJ our night after carefully listening to what we were after. Jacob aka DJ Chill Ease absolutely delivered on the night. The set up was sleek and suited our wedding perfectly. We can't thank you guys enough and still can't believe we won this package at an expo. Highly recommend these guys and would book them again.

We had mike from western sounds at my daughters wedding being of European background we had some of our own music that we wanted to have at least 8 songs for them to dance at. Mike came to me when entre was served to say that the email hadn't come through I asked him when did he work this out from as the email was sent the week prior he said just now, my son in law had the music on his email as he sent it, he said let me send it again we got told No it won't work. A few guests went up to him to see if they could put their Spotify and use their hotspot he said No my computer can't do that. He didn't want to even try to help us.
Then there was my cousins son who has servere autism and adhd he freaked out because the music was too loud he went to ask to turn it down, Mike turned it down for him but as soon as the young man turned to walk away Mike turned it up and more, this happened throughout the night and the young man wasn't the only person that asked to have it down, the bride and groom asked at one stage and he did the same there. The photographer also heard Mike speak inappropriately to the young man as he was getting annoyed at the continual request of having the music turned down, and she advised the mother of this.at one stage one of the venue staff went up to the DJ when the young man was speaking to him as she was concerned for his safety as the DJ was getting very irate with him, the mother said he won't hurt him the venue staff said im worried your son is going to get hit by the DJ. Mike made my daughters wedding not a very enjoyable one, he was very unprofessional. I spoke with the venue owner and some of her staff the following day she had told me her staff had already reported everything from that night and she was going to blacklist Mike as that behaviour was not on. I have since spoken to western sounds about the dissatisfied service that Mike had done not to mention the trauma the young man has as I have seen him 3 times since then and I keep getting asked repeatedly am I in trouble, my ears were hurting. Western sounds have advised that they need to speak to the venue staff to find out the other side of the story, that was 30th November it dosent take that long to speak with people if you are investigating a bad service your company has done, obviously you are not concerned as you would have sorted something out and gotten back to us as you promised you would. I would NEVER recommend these guys they ruined the whole day. Dont waste your time, there are alot more professional DJS out there that will take care on your day.

Thanks for getting back to me on your forum Anthony but for someone who has been working 25 year djing that experience did not show through that night. Anyway before you pin me as a liar at telling me what wasn’t true you might want to speak to the childs mother who is willing to talk to you as is the venue manager and staff as I have spoken to them, this shows you have not looked at the situation at all. I understand negative feedback is not what you are after to promote your business but people are entitled to speak their truth of their experience with your company for others to see. I do not understand what you are talking about with other issues with the day? As there wasn’t any until we got to the venue and was approached by Mike. Maybe you should contact me to discuss this.

We've been using Western Sounds over the years and have been pretty happy with every DJ we have hired through them.

Dion was a lot of fun. He hit the brief perfectly and had all our guests up and dancing the whole night.

We used Western Sounds for a 40th Birthday Party, Adam (DJ) was awesome, the timber floors had about 20yrs wear taken off them with everybody dancing. Easy to deal with and the sound and lighting was spot on.
