Great museum, lots to look at, Egyptian exhibit was awesome. Surrounding area is fun to explore
Wonderful Museum, monumental and inclusive. Thoroughly enjoyed the 'Discovering Ancient Egypt' Exhibition. Loved the way they incorporated the old architecture with the new. Well worth a visit and something for all ages to enjoy. Join up for the price of admission to enjoy it for a year.
I was lucky to win the facebook competition to see the "Discovering Ancient Egypt Exhibition a family pass with a exhibition gift bag. We had an awesome time so interesting. Great day out
An essential museum of nature, culture, the land, the history of the Australian west coast in an impressive and modern building.
Totally recommended.
I am not into museums a lot, but it was a very good experience, mainly for my 8 years old daughter. It is kind of interactive, so keep kids interested in exploring it. My daughter loves it and wants to go back some day.
Had a great time here with my grand kids over the weekend, bit of a hassle getting from place to place, but we managed! The grand kids loved it, for the first five minutes! All joking aside it was a great experience and it taught the little ones a little about our history!

Beautiful masterpiece as seen outside, but as the building was under renovation works, I wasn't able to get in
I enjoyed the old museum, can't wait for the renovations to finish. Should be reopening in the Year of Perfect Vision (2020).
Creative, reflective, retrospective, contemporary.all types of art work you can imagine, its all there, very quiet and organized and its free
The building is really starting to take shape now, can't wait to see the finished product! Looks good Multiplex!
The New Museum for Western Australia is one of the most significant museum redevelopments in the world today, and one of which all Western Australians should be incredibly proud.
Developed in the heart of the Perth Cultural Centre, it will share the stories of our people and place, acting as a gateway to explore all of Western Australia. It will reflect the extraordinary history, distinctiveness, creativity and diversity of our State and region.
Over the course of the project, and long after the doors have opened in 2020, the people of WA will be invited to contribute to the way we present the stories of our past, present and future. We will encourage dialogue, debate and the sharing of multiple perspectives to identify the stories and experiences that are important to our State.
Great place.larst one to go through now building a new and bigger one but keeping the old one with in it.good to see old and new together
Goto the museum. If you haven't, you probably don't appreciate what you should about humanity. Take the kids they will love it, if they don't, don't blame me.
The Western Australian Museum – Perth has now closed to the public while we create the New Museum for WA, scheduled to open in the Perth Cultural Centre in 2020
This is temporarily closed for renervations unsure if the have opened a temporary mussem in its place.
The WA Museum is usually a brilliant place to discover the history of Australia but at present is closed and will not reopen until 2020.
Closed to 2020! Are staff on full pay do they just stay home? What kind of a state capital does not have a museum.
The Western Australian Museum is well worth a visit particularly if you have the kids in tow. Interesting exhibits and information on the local flora and fauna.
