I wouldn’t even give health care australia 1 star from passed experience, the worst agency I have ever worked for cancelling shifts all the time never have work even though they told me when I was joining there was loads of work, I wouldn’t recommend to anyone don’t bother wasting your time, staff are ignorant and no help at all.

Staffs are very excellent. The staffs are nice and providing shift for our availability. I'm so proud and excited to be a part of my HCA. I prefer most of my friends to be a part of the HCA. Love you, Team!

HCA treat nurses dreadfully! Once was abandoned in Cloncurry with no money after having my wallet stolen on the plane, HCA didnt care I had to borrow money from another nurse to get by. Another time, I got a contract by another agency and because I did that they wouldn't fly me home to my home state until I publicly shamed them on Facebook. After returning to work last year after having two broken leg's and spending a year in hospital and a year in rehab I applied to rejoin and HCA were gushing and couldn't sign me up quick enough! All of a sudden I got a very rude email saying that they had checked my file - and essentially I "didn't fit their profile" or some BS.when I realized they were discriminating against me and refusing to give me work. So I went with a BETTER agency and am now on my 5th contract and couldn't be happier! Nobody likes HCA!

I am very happy to work with HCA and very lucky to be one of their team. All the HCA staffs, they are fantastic.

Worse experience ever. The Western Australia HCA allocation people so unprofessional and rude and have communication issues especially the ones with Irish accent so racist and always arguing with you when you asked for a shift. West of time not getting shifts.

I woud strongly recommended not wasting your time applying to work for this agency I spent hours preparing for the interview and loads of $$ on there requirements after the induction/interview only to be disappointed by the results. They do not appreciate the hours and dollars wasted enough to even read the many documents you are required to produce. Sole destroying process thanks to AINE! DON'T WAST YOUR TIME!

Utter waste of time, I was signed up as an AIN and a Disability support worker and I was only offered 2 shifts in the space of 2 months. They make you do various trainings and online modules or else they make your file inactive and you wont be offered shifts. The in-house training is inadequate and expensive. I had to redo all of my trainings as my Irish ones werent accepted but they were so half arsed compared to ones I've done before. Dont waste your time.

I worked for this crowd when I first became a nurse, and again 5 years later I return to them, and it feels like coming home. This company has Australia wide scope, rural and remote placements and also local agency shifts available. Its very hi tech with the app, and the staff are great.

Healthcare Australia is a great company to work for! I highly recommend working for them if you are looking for a healthcare recruitment or corporate services role.

I am a registered nurse/midwife and enjoy the flexibility working with WANA gives me in choosing my shifts and area of work, ED or Mid. I get as much work as I want and can take time off is something happens to a family member without stressing about trying to change rosters or get leave. The one time I had to cancel a booked shift the WANA staff were great, very understanding

What an amazing experience. The team go out of their way to help get the contract you want. Nothing is too much trouble. Michelle Morgan is my contracts manager and I am living the dream. Currently in remote WA having the once in a lifetime experience. And getting paid for it.thanks to the HCA team

I've been with HCA WANA for 3.5 years and within this time worked within the CBD in Perth as a midwife in public and private. I have also had the opportunity to go remote and rural to Port Hedland and Thursday Island where I became the Clinical Outreach Midwife for 18 months before returning again to Perth and the beauty and diversity of WA. The remote and rural team look after all your travel arrangements for each contract, and are there at the end of the phone to assist ensure the contract placement goes smoothly. I love my career and the opportunities HCA give me to travel, see parts and communities within Australia I would not get to alone and have the bonus of payment for attending this wonderful places, and meet inspiring people along my travels.

Working for HCA rural and remote has been a fabulous introduction to agency nursing. The support I recieve from Michelle and Lucy is outstanding, those girls are amazing. No issue is ever to big for them to sort out, they will bend over backwards to get the best result for you. It can sometimes get a bit isolating out bush but regular contact from Michelle and Lucy checking in just to see how I'm going is a welcome relief to hear a friendly familiar voice. HCA truly do deserve their A1 rating! I would recommend working with HCA to everyone! I just love working with them

I love the eHCA app, it gives me the freedom of being able to change my availability online, and book shifts without having to always be on the phone ringing people. The office staff, especially Kerry are so helpful and friendly. They also supply to all health facilities in Perth and WA.

I've been working with WANA for 5 yrs now and I think it's a fabulous agency. There are numerous shifts available for the specialties, hospitals and times I choose.
The user friendly eHCA app, gives the freedom to book shifts & change availability without calling the office. It's the ultimate tool to arrange holidays in a snap!
And the office staff are extremely helpful, friendly & love to share a good laugh.

Have I have been with WANA for 2.5 years, two years in Perth and this year rural and remote. The WANA team are very supportive and Michelle and Lucy with rural and remote have been absolutely fabulous. They go above and beyond to ensure that everything runs smoothly. A special thank you to Michelle who collaborated with my daughter who came over from NSW to where I was working for a surprise visit. That is the type of real team spirit you get working with WANA.
