West Australian Ballet reviews
19Went to see The Nutcracker wednesday night. I enjoyed the whole performance and look forward to going to see more ballet. Beautiful night.
The centre itself is great but I think there’s not enough parking space available for visitors.
A company of competent dancers performing repetitive seasons of tired and uninspired ballet theatres. New artistic direction and a clean out of management is what’s needed if WAB is ever going to be more than a provincial B-grade company.
As a visitor to Perth, it has been a highlight to have seen 2 performances of the WA Ballet - one at The Quarry and the other last night, Genesis at Whatley St. The young choreographers and dancers were exceptional - 10 performances all so diverse and stunning moving us into different worlds and experiences all within 1 hour.
Always a pleasure to meet the dancers and experience a bit of their intense daily routine. I am glad that we went.
Great ballet company. Fantastic with their child guest artists look after them & treat them so well. Beautiful dancers at WA Ballet keep up the good work. We love watching you perform.
Great place very modern interior of the building everying here is so nice and are not scared to help you out
Beautifully restored art deco fascade. Terrific dance venue. Home of the West Australian Ballet.
I always enjoy the Genesis ballet show. New choreography is a great pleasure. However, there is no point to ballet if you can't see the feet. The studio seating quality has not kept pace with the increase of the ticket price. The front row must be the only seats where the full dancing body can be seen. Could not the seating elevation be increased so that everyone can see all the dancer's body? I have no gripe with the content and quality of the show, but I hate being visually disadvantaged by poor seating.
Very inspiring establishment. Staff and activities on offer are very encouraging and accesible /affordable to young ballet students.
Lovely reception, friendly, entry dance sculpture, and dance rooms. Costume department. Rehearsal spaces.
A very nice, clean place & very friendly staff. Adult class is very enjoyable. Highly recommend it. The downside, parking is limited.
Held an event here with the parents and kids of the office as part of the nutcracker premier and it was so much fun! Food was simple but good and a great selection of drinks were on offer. The performers came out after rehearsals to mingle and sign posters
Stuffed my other acc but as I’ve mentioned before:
Hard to miss. Pleanty of parking. Went there for a local fashion show a friend put on a while back. Place is in great condition, well looked after.
Felt very welcomed by the staff as soon as I arrived and loved my beginner ballet level 1 class. The teacher gave instructions clearly and gave some options for the different levels of ability of the students.
Lots of stairs, lovely front desk staff various range of classes from kids to adult beginners and pros.
Just love this venue, such talented dancers and to be able to get so close to them is indeed a pleasure
