Wesley Uniting Church reviews
23A truly wonderful experience, and could not fault a thing. Excellent venue with great accoustics, wonderful atmosphere, and very talented musicians. A great concert!
A great place to see a mixture of modern architecture and classic architecture that reflects the character of the city of Perth - a mix of old and new
Candlelight Concert at Wesley Church featuring Dolce Ensemble was fantastic. The atmosphere and acoustics of the church added to it’s small size and provided a truly blissful experience. Highly recommend and will definitely return.
Amazing venue and absolutely incredibly talented musicians. Wonderful interaction with the audience too.
Great time.
This church is situated on the corner of Hay & William St in Perth City.
37 Pioneers bound for Swan River Colony arrived at Fremantle on the evening of 3rd February 1830 on a boat named ‘Tranby’ embarking from Hull, England. The foundation stone for this building was laid on 25th of October 1867 by Governor Hampton. This church opened on 10th of April 1870 with a cost of £3000. This building adds to the historical beauty of Perth and I look forward to experience it from the inside one day and conclude my review on “So My Experience”.

We attended a candlelight concert at Wesley Church, it was amazing, the music an ambience was fantastic. My only criticism would be the uncomfortable seating. I understand it is a church pew, but some cushions would have helped or at least a reminder when purchasing the tickets to bring some. Everyone was trying to be quiet and respectful, but you could see & hear people moving to alleviate the discomfort.
Other than that, it was a great night in a beautiful setting.
These people do a free hot drink and biscuits on Saturday and Tuesday nights. For me this is a relief from the daily anxiety ridden days that I experience. To the gentleman who complained about the location and the "bad people", well homelessness isn't full of bad people, just as life in general isn't, just remember that. Anyone, through a few circumstantial negative situations can end up living rough. I am one and really I don't know what to do to get out of this. Your broad sweeping generalisations and assertions are not welcome
Visited for candle light ghibli a little string quartet and it was beautiful.created the perfect atmosphere for a lil date night! Downside is parking is hard to find but thats standard for the city
My friend jordan has been going through a phase.she thinks its okay to shoplift, praise the devil, and be g*y.please, im begging you, fix her.gets the g*y out of her.i didnt raise her like this.praise the lord, amen. ️️
Strange place. People go there to talk to themselves and sing. Possibly a home for the ones stricken with a mental illness.
Beautiful old church in the city. It offers courses to discover what a Christian believes (Alpha) and a parenting course which was also excellent.
Always seems to be open and accessible to all the people of Perth, which is refreshing in this day and age, as well as being one of few remaining 19th-century colonial buildings in the City of Perth.
Although my visits may be infrequent, whenever I am in Perth, and feel like a quiet prayer time, I know I can find refuge in the Wesley Uniting Church and meditate in the presence of the Lord
Conveniently located with several outreach programs. Very welcome to people of all faiths and backgrounds.
Excellent Rev and Facilitator arranging the alpha course. So kind of the church to give tea break n lunch
A beautiful small heaven in heart of city.one of the best place to take a break from busy life and think about yourself.
Lovely church that save the CBD from being a full building city. Unfortunately, the location make some bad people staying around.
The church is located in Perth CBD area and it has been there for over 100 years. It’s open weekdays 8: 30am-5pm.
Nice landmark in the city. Like London Court, "I'll meet you there when you get to the city. ".
This is s a lovely church, and very welcoming. The doors are always open for passers-by to pop in for a bit of quiet time. Furthermore, it has an amazing outreach program for Senior Citizens, called Trinity School for Seniors. There are classes and outings to suit every possible field of interest - art, drama, writing, dance, fitness.all with excellent teachers. (A bit of self-promo here - I run theatrical dance classes for seniors.) But the main thing is fellowship. No matter what your field of interest, you will find like-minded people to talk to about anything under the sun.
