Dr Gordon has been taking of my family, including my mum, for the past 3 years or so. He always remembers us esp my kids. He is very nice and caring doctor. Staff is also very friendly and accomodating. Highly recommended!

This female doctor made me feel like a drug addict, I have MS, protruding disc in my back, and asked for some pain relief because my tablets had run out.
Don't go here if you need any help.

I mainly visit Dr Gordon Kendall who is an outstanding Doctor in every aspect. I have come across many average doctors in Perth and it is refreshing to find a Doctor that is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, intelligent and understanding. I would not mind travelling from Joondalup to visit such a well respected Doctor.

This clinic is highly recommended. Staff are very pleasant and accommodating - reception and nurse. Our GP is Dr Pennell who is truly wonderful, intelligent and professional. She really takes care of my health especially when I was pregnant and even my family. Whenever she is not available, we go to Dr Gordon who is also wonderful.

I Understand some of the concern above, but not all the GP's in this establishment are the same.
I do know Gordon and he is a good guy, but do agree his bed side manner is poor and he fails to listen and give informed answers regarding your medical concerns.

On the other hand I see Dr Pennell and I think she is fantastic!
She is a intent listener, very well informed on all matters and makes you feel extremely comfortable even with the awkward medical concerns.its a 5 star from me any day of the week.
Oh and the young girl on the reception is kind, efficient and welcoming.
Bravo

I had the exact same experience Marcus Kelly did, cannot recommend Dr Gordon Kendall in the least.
It was the most frustrating experience possible- almost being completely ignored in light of his need to tell irrelevant anecdotes.

I went in to see Gordon, despite their only being one person in the practice and me waiting for an hour to speak to him while i hear him laughing like its a comedy show with his younger female clients i finally get seated and voice my concerns about my health issues, i am informed that he has made a mistake with the last client and needs to rectify it. Fair enough we all make mistakes, i wait for 5 minutes while he single keystrokes the laptop keypad to type one sentence, i still gave him the benefit of the doubt but was starting to understand why things were running so slow.

After asking him many questions he would either cut me off mid sentance or deflect them and tell me story's from 20 years ago (this is 2015 and things have come along way since then) and the condition i was asking him about he actually admitted to me he didnt understand it for 25 years and was speaking to me like a councilor rather then a GP. I voiced my concerns over back problems, heart palpitations and if i could exercise or not, he would not answer my questions or even ask about these problems but would just state things i already understood. After trying to explain to him i understand what he is saying but i am not getting the information i require he just says he will refer me to a cardiologist and it could take anywhere from 6 months to a year and then would go ahead to miss spell my address and phone number.

He would be better as a comedian or a Councillor because i left with more questions and not a single answer. Worst GP i have ever experienced, my name is proudly stated in this review.

I even wonder if he is a trained practitioner because i have never seen anything like this, biggest waste of money. (1 star is very generous) I feel almost violated for signing the duty of care boxes because i could be at serious risk of death because of this mans ignorance, thank you Gordon for showing me how unhelpful the system can be when your in need. AVOID THIS GP! The sad truth is you will probably be treated differently if you are an attractive female.

*Plus he couldn't read a patient report from the hospital, i had to point out the concerning parts in the report because he failed to notice them. Like how bad can you be at your job when a 23 year old unemployed male knows more things about your job then yourself and here he is trying to give me counselling. Yeah right buddy.

Very helpful, professional and humane group of GPs who don't seem to chase money like most previous surgeries I went to. Bit of a wait oftn so bring a book!
