Wellstead Museum & Cafe Bremer Bay reviews
62 Absolutely make sure you make a stop here if you're in Bremer Bay. Allow a Whole day haha. Or at least a good few hours to really take in all the old treasures of history. And then the food and coffee is excellent, we had lunch but the breakfast menu looks amazing too as does the woodfired pizza menu, which is available for Friday nights!
We will definitely be back when we are in Bremer next time.
Great museum to visit and the co-located cafe offers a range of delicious menu options, great coffee and cake. Wide range of interesting artefacts in the museum. Kangaroos can often be seen lounging around on the lawns adjacent to the museum and cafe. Kid friendly.
After being disappointed on having bad food at the Bremer Bay Brewing Co we were so thrilled to come across the Museum Cafe. Great service and atmosphere. The food is fresh, creative and full of flavour. Will definitely be coming back again.
Nice place plenty of things to see. Alot of history. Staff friendly, service good. Food nice. Worth a visit.
I had no idea so much stuff could be collected in one place. Some items I could identify from my childhood. Good to see it's kept for future generations and not trashed. Highly recommended to visit.
Best hummingbird cake I've eaten bar my own. Coffee was also good and staff pleasant.
Got a pretty neg vibe here which was a shame. Sorry your internet was down, but we had cash. No drama. Just try and pretend you aren't hating life so your customers don't feel like an inconvenience.
This would be the best private museum I have ever seen. An Absolute credit to the Wellstead family for their collection. A must visit when you are in Bremer Bay.
Great little hidey spot lots to see museum great probably needs a little TLC. The coffee best in the Southwest. Go and check it out
Friendly staff and good food. We have had a Big breakfast and Gluten free Egg Benedict which we enjoyed very much.
A must visit in Bremer! We have been multiple times now and they never disappoint. Had the tempura fish and chips today and it was amazing. Friendly team, lucky bay brewery beers and a dog friendly venue.
Nice little Cafe and cheap entry fee to the museum. They have a lot of stuff you won't find anything else. Very interesting to look around. Friendly stuff
Excellent wood fired pizza's on certain nights (order in advance given limited capacity) and a great breakfast spot also.
Very nice atmosphere. Staff was lovely and products were fresh. The little museum is full of bric a brac and hidden treasures
Lovely little cafe attached to the Wellstead Museum. Food selection was good, could have a few more options but what they do offer is too quality. Kids meals are quite generous too and I was surprised by the amount of food given for the price. Definitely a place to visit while enjoying the lovely town of Bremer Bay.
Enjoyed wandering the museum buildings and the vast collections after a lovely coffee and cake.
It was nice to walk through an old farm with all the rusty cast iron detritus, assembled and in bits.and not get kicked off for trespass.
Food was the best we've had in a long time! Packed full of flavour and you can tell it's made with love. Oh and sure the museum is good as well.
This museum is a must see when visiting Bremer Bay. $10 adult entrance fee worth every cent. Food at cafe excellent. We spent 2.5 hours here. Could have spent more but was wet and windy.
