Wellington Square reviews
65Moort-ak Waadiny Park is amazing especially if you have very energetic kids with lots of energy to burn. There's a monster slide with a challenging climb to get to. Basketball courts, table tennis and lots of seating. BBQ spots with tables and shade. Obstacle courses, swings and lots of space to run. A lovely morning had with the kids
A beautiful inner city park containing shaded grassy areas and lots of activities. Running route, pingpong tables, basketball hoops, cricket pitch, AFL posts, skate park and calisthenics bars. The best!
Wellington Square Playground is it is open 2021, located at East Perth can reach by public transport (BUS no 160 - 24 - 27 and yellow CAT stop no 29 or 10) from Perth, , very nice playground, there is a nice picnic area, BBQ facilities, drink fountain and Clean wash room.
Skating, basketball, big playground. If only the skatepark area was better lit at night it would be perfect
Super super awesome ground this has become after the renovations. Best ever kids friendly ground in whole of WA. Can vouch for that.lots of shaded BBQ areas to have your little party away from the usual beaches.
It still is awesomest and clean park, nice for kids and grown-ups alike. Cricket pitches, BBQ's are there for the adults while the kids can play around with so many of the play areas.
The new playground, hoops, pump track and skatepark are a great addition to the area. They have really improved the area with this development
Basketball courts lit up at night and really nice how they have made it much more open feel with the landscaping.
One of the best parks we have visited. Superb variety of play equipment, suitable for all ages, plus 'easy' skateboard/bike area. Well maintained after recent upgrade. Plenty of shade plus grassed areas for ball games. Only downside is pay parking on street weekdays until 6pm.
Since when do we now use an aboriginal name for every place. If this is required produce a separate map to prevent confusion.
Perfect place to spend your leisure time and weekend with family, especially with kids.
Plenty of playing areas, slides, skating, along with ping pong table, and basketball courts.
If gets tired have places for BBQ.
Awesome place to spend whole day
Lots of sharp edges everywhere and no shade in a country where UV and sun can be harmful to any skin type. Would not bring child in the middle of the day. No free parking around as well. No cafe or food outlets for refreshments. Who planned this?
Suit for kindy and young teen age group. Cafe or some food trucks around would be perfect to keep the parents to stay longer
Great place to rest heaps of things for the kids to play. Clean toilets and drinking water with heaps of grass and shade.
Loved this playground. So we'll thought out, so much to do. Covers a wide range of ages. Can get very hot with little shade cover over playground equipment. So best to go early to mid morning or late afternoon during the summer period. We loved this park!
Great shade trees. Fabulous and quite different play equipment that catered to many age groups (we had boys 4,5,8 and 12 years old). The water playground area was a big hit with everyone, including my daughter and me.
Beautiful. Plenty of shade. City of Perth need to have toilets cleaned and checked routinely daily
Awesome place to go for lunch or play a game of half court basketball and plenty of things for the family to have fun with and to do
Love this free entertainment park for the kids. However, the water park area don't turn on as often (maybe broken). Remember to bring a change of clothing, a scooter and a basketball so the kids can go nuts here for a couple of hours. 5 star because there is coffee, banh mi and ice cream truck run by 2 lovely ladies name Kate and Kathy on weekends.and free carpark on weekends too. Love love love.
What a place. Great place for the kids. Lots of BBQs available. Heaps of seats with park benches to enjoy. Fantastic facilities, and just all round a great place. Beautiful gardens with a beautiful atmosphere
It's a beautiful park, but the highest slide of the playground is absolutely dangerous! I slid down like completely normal, no silly movements nothing and became so fast that I flew over the end and broke my leg in 3 places! Absolutely not recommended for any children.
