I recently started my own company and I am so pleased that I asked Website rescuers to make my website. They listened to my plans for my company, and then created and developed an amazing website that perfectly suits my needs - and which turned out so much better than I could have imagined. Throughout the process they were attentive and professional, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I run JB Military Antiques in Morley, I asked Gary Hanley who runs website rescuers to update my website, he said he would look into it and gave me a quote to make over my website with word press, with a time line of 3 to 4 weeks, this was agreed upon with me stating this 4 week deadline, I paid the deposit. After an initial few scattery emails all that was done in the first 3 weeks was a basic outline, nothing more. Gary assured me he needed a couple of more weeks and the website would be finished. Nothing was completed, no extra work down and all I got was excuse after excuse and him telling me that it was a technical issue etc.

After 4 months and me phoning Gary and him continuing to charge me for work not fully carried out, I told him he would need to finish the website or I would contact my credit card company and have them refund me. Only at this point did he actually do anything. We did get a website completed, however it was full of bugs, errors and spelling mistakes. I and my employees had to vet the website for errors, with numerous and very, very frustrating phone calls and email to Gary. He admitted on several occasions he had no idea about some of the technical issues and we pretty much had to google and youtube solutions for him.

Once the website was complete, we started getting bills for hosting and email service, even though we had told him we did not want his hosting, nor email service. He also charged us for an SSL certificate through his server which we never used and had to replace with out own.not to mention the complaints from our customers regarding being blocked from their online account, failure to be able to complete checkout and so on.

In a nutshell, the time it took to fix the website cost us time and money which will never be recovered.

The final straw in our business relationship was when he billed us for work several months after completion for work to fix the issues with the website, to which I emailed him and told him he was no longer welcome to access our admin page or website - in other words, do not have anything to do with us, our credit card (further charges kept appearing for 'work') etc.

Since that time, we have had strange hacking attempts on our website, and 'test' admin login attempts to the admin page. Unfortunately he who prides himself on his 'technical genius', seems to not understand that when you try to access someone's website, you need to actually cover your tracks when doing so.

So in conclusion, if you want to be lied to, deceived and basically mucked around with your website and technical issues, use website rescuers. If you want a professional service, do it yourself or get a 6 year old to help you, as the results will be 10,000 times better than what these clowns will give you.
