Place is very run down and animals are in very poor condition, horrible to see them in such small cages with spider webs around them all.emu should not be allowed to roam free as he was very aggressive and actually chased us.

I like climbing the rocks and getting stuck up on the rock my dad ripped his pants though and had to wear a skirt.

Love the place.
The rock is amazing and the walks lovely.
Caravan park is wonderful (has a pool).
Great cafe too with spectacular salads (and out of this world vanilla slice).

Just stopped in to see the Wildlife park, I was quite looking forward to seeing Koalas but I found the place left us feeling quite ill and shocked at how bad the place looks and how horrible the cages are, at first it appeared there were no koalas but then we found one, on his own and sitting on the ground looking very poorly, an older lady said she felt he wasn't well I said he's probably depressed at being all alone, I think this place needs to be shut down. Kangaroos with no room to bound about and a sheep with far too much wool for this time of year, pigeons have a large cage whilst Eagles have a small one. Shocking some authorities will be notified by me tomorrow, very depressing indeed.

We all loved this place. The wave has a fascinating history but you should also walk up the granite rock behind the wave. Feel the silence, look at the lonely Sandalwood tree and even see other waves forming from aeons of weathering. There is a local tearoom for refreshments. Take a fly veil or insect repellent with you - you'll need it.

Well worth the visit! Can easily spend an hour or two wandering around and having a climb on the rocks. Beautiful, unique spot.

Cages very old. Animals look not happy. You will feel sorry for the animals while looking at them.

What a waste of money and time. And overall a cruelty for the animals there. After you paid a 12 dollars entry fee, you will see half dead and sick animals, a lot of plastic sculptures and nothing else. It's a really poor and sad place

Visited it in 2015, that was a lovely place to see lots off cute animals. But like other visitors' comments, facilities for animals were old.

It took us 28 years to get down to see wave rock just wish we'd done it sooner. Stunningly beautiful.no graffiti and really quite easy to take pics with only us in them.so go early if you can. Ive also been told the colours are amazing as the sun sets.

We all had an uncomfortable feeling while visiting the animals. The place was empty and sad. Animals looked bored, they were too hot, and really did not look happy. We stopped visiting after a few minutes as we all felt depressed and sort of ashamed to have encouraged this kind of business, but we really had no idea it would have been like this.
We should have been more aware since the entrance was filled with stuffed animals in a creepy way. We believe this kind of place is just an extra business to attract people, with no real consideration nor respect for those beautiful animals. I felt like opening all the cages and set them free: - (

Nice park near the wave rock, there is s shop where you can buy souvenirs, or drinks. Great place! The place is very well organised and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Pricing is reasonable. Amenities is good and BBQ area too. If you stay in camp you can go free to wave rock

Absolutely a discrace. Several geese to wade in a very small bath. Minimal shade for donkeys. Grounds in great need of repair and restoration. Dont be tricked into buying a gold pass for $15 to see other attractions including Wildlife Park.

The white kangaroos are awesome; the zoo pretty much got everything: kangaroo, koala, lots of birds etc.it’s just I feel the place is not well maintained, and the price is a bit high.

I was very happy to see there is a wildlife park at wave rock, so that adds another thing to do for my family in our trip from Perth. However, the park is quite depressing. All the animals look sad in their cages and the area is very badly maintained. There is not a single staff around. The place has definitely seen better days judging the train and camel rides it used to have. Sad

This place was a little bit sad in my opinion. I'm not sure if it's really well maintained. There are many different animals like birds, camels, donkeys, kangaroos or koalas.

It was bigger than we expected. Most animals were born in the park and don't know a different way of living. Make sure you meet George. It is the funniest bird you will ever meet. Not sure if he is mentally really alright. He diggs holes in the ground like a dog, he will great you like a person and he dances like nobody's watching. When you are watching other animals he gets jealous and he will scream until you come back. We had such a laugh. But he probably needs some medical attention.

The Wildlife Park was not very well maintained and there were only a few animals (white kangaroos included).

Mostly birds, but a few other animals as well. Not too bad, but don’t expect anything all that astounding.
