Wattle Grove Motel

Unfortunately our car window was smashed and items stolen from our car whilst parked in the motel carpark. Just a timely reminder that although motels feel like a safe location, anyone is able to gain access to the carpark.
There is an gate that remains unlocked from the adjoining service station which seems to be quite a thoroughfare.
Perhaps additional security measures could be taken by the motel in the hope this wouldn't happen again.

The rooms were really nice 2 stay in and comfortable, the room service woz really nice, I recommend the steak sandwich really nice!

Advertised with internet WiFi service. This wasn't working and had been down for over a week apparently. Stayed two nights and it wasn't restored during stay. Would not choose to book accommodation without internet WiFi. Noticed some other maintenance issues and carpet cleaning overdue. Good quiet location and great pub restuarant.

Staff are lovely (Sally and Tania) great meals, we use this as an overnight stay with work and they always go above and beyond for our company.

Best rooms, friendly staff, rooms are bigger than a normal hotel which is excellent, very neat and tidy, secure parking and very quiet. No road noise

Absolutely amazing place. Comfortable. Quiet. Well priced. Even the Restaurant attached to it is flawless.

Great location. Rooms decent size and very adequate facilities. Service A+ We had a great week stay at the motel.

Good sized rooms comfy bed. Can hear the planes taking off from the airport but only just. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk in the room. Fridge and microwave. Plenty of hot water and decent pressure in the shower. Bar and grill is good too nice food for pub grub.

I came to see a friend here that was a paying customer and when approached by only as I can gather the person being the owner was rude and abusive to me without approaching me in a civil matter because I parked somewhere that I didn't realise I was supposed too I apologised but nothing but rude comments afterwards would definitely not recommend this place for someone to stay and I'm local to this area

Very busy Motel had to wait 1 hour for Room check in. There's a place you can eat etc across from office which is ideal. If you don't have a Credit Card be prepared to pay $500 Lucky I have a Credit Card! Quaint little Motel though. Service people were very accommodating here.

Actually.the fridge door seal was broken temporally fixed myself.bathroom not clean.ants in the unit.handle missing in cutlery drawer.dirty stains on carpet.wine glass with crack broke in my hand.

Very nice place, clean and tidy, rooms are nicely presented. The bed is comfortable. The food is good and service friendly. Pool and playground for the kids near the restaurant. It’s nice to have a nice motel like this around the area.

Lovely food that's affordable and great family friendly environment, with plenty for kids to do.

The food at the Restaurant was very poor. Battered Fish was so oily sent it back, the steak burger not toasted, meat looked very anemic, over loaded in aoili. Piźza average Cabonara ok. Will not eat there again.

Lovely accommodation and great location. We have been staying here for over 6 years and have introduced our family to it. Unfortunately the standard of the restaurant/bar has slipped. After reading the wine list and choosing, I was told they only have one wine. I had tried the wine on my last visit and found it bitter and couldn't drink it. Why have a wine list if you only one wine? We ordered a meal which came with salad and chips. The meal was lovely but the salad was a few green shoots?
The bar manager was rude and not accommodating. We will be rethinking any future stays.

Excellent food and service. Cheep pints of beer and excellent cocktails.not to mention the secure kids playgound.

Room was nice and the bed was comfy. My only complaint was the aircon unit outside sits right where everyone goes to smoke. As a non smoker having the smell of cigarettes being pumped in to the room was a little discomforting

What a lovely place this is. A beautiful Restuarant and bar. A great playground for the kids and a small pool. Then you have the great rooms, awesome service and amazing staff. Sally the receptionist is amazing with nothing too much a bother and all the staff are the same. I can't praise these guys enough. They are helping to make our stay as seamless as possible through what is a trying time for the family.

You will not regret staying here. Check them out.

Our lunch came out after 40 mins!
The place is not busy at all.there were only 2 mum with kids before us.they got their food 25 mins before us which is all deep fried. UNACCEPTABLE!
I'm a chef myself.their meals should be ready in 10-12 mins max.
After 40 mins wait for our food, the waiter came and apologies for the late because the grill wasn't hot enough.
Seriously.if you open by 11.30.your equipment shout be on by 11am.my rump steak was tough.but my partner steak sandwich was beautiful. I'm so happy about that.
Kitchen need to wake up and get a grip.
Service was amazing tho!
I will still coming back as the place is beautiful.

Very nice large room, with lounge and dining table. However, they insisted on a $100 "security bond", which they assured me I would get back the next day. I didn't. The next day at checkout they said it would go back into my account 'after they had checked the room'. REALLY? Did they think I was going to steal the bed or something? Put a sour taste in my mouth. 2 days later and it's still not in my account!
