Waterford Fish & Chips

Went here for the first time as wanted fish and chips on the river while we watched the fire works. Hands down the best fish and chips I have had in years. The squid rings were melt in the mouth tender. Chips were perfect. The fish and batter delicious. I wish this place wasn't so far from home but we will definitely be going back despite the distance. Yum!

My family and I have been customers for many years. Fantastic family-run business with consistently great food and friendly service. Would gladly recommend to others.

I dont eat fish but i love their chips, way better than any other fish and chip store: D they are also super friendly and fast

The staff are friendly, and it's a clean, well-run place.

The food isn't bad, either, but some of the recipe choices made are a bit odd. Their grilled fish tasted like there was cinnamon on it, and everything has a generally "sweet" taste to it.

Disappointing this time - batter was pale instead of golden and so not really crispy and chips also could have done with more cooking time

This is by far the best fish and chips we have eaten in a long time! Decent portion and price. The quality was outstanding and they use clean fresh oil unlike some other places. Will definitely be back if in the area.

Friendly staff, efficient and food is great with good variety! Clean and welcoming inside so grateful to have a clean, good quality local. Don't forget to check on the wall for the managers specials!

Have been here many times, the owners are always so lovely and friendly. Some of the best fish and chips that I have had. Excellent, thin and crispy batter that doesn't give you that "sickly" feeling after eating. Great portions, good value and have never been disappointed eating here. Could not recommend this place more for your fish and chips craving.

The fish and chips for one is a very generous serve.basically it is enough for two people! The batter is good and the chips are double fried. The price is reasonable.

TERRIBLE PORTION SIZES. The photo attached is $5 worth of chips. Pathetic. Will not be buying from here again.

I only just moved out from NSW to WA and this is the best fish and chips I ever had in Australia so far. Unlike any other fish & chips shops, this one cares about quality.

Orders taken by phone are ready on time and kept hot till you are able to pick up. Food is always spot on. One of us has grilled cobbler and the other of us has fried cobbler and the batter is crunchy and not full of fat or oil.
