Warmun Roadhouse

If you can avoid this place do not hesitate, our Visa card does not work in the machine for gasoline and the staff at the station did not want to do anything, we wanted to pay in cash and even that was not Not possible. All with an unpleasant attitude as possible! Fortunately a very friendly customer suggested we try it with her card, which worked and we reimbursed her in cash.in gas station there is SERVICE! But not at warmun roadhouse!

Fuel price 50c higher then Doon Doon and only an hour down the road from them? Dearer then Halls Creek. Very difficult to reach by phone. Expect all communication and bookings to be made via emails. Most other Roadhouse in Australia you can ring direct.

Lovely and friendly staff, best coffee and delicious fresh food.it's well stocked too considering it's in the middle of nowhere.pool is crystal clear and cool, perfect for the hot weather.the fuel is prepaid now so just walk up to the machine and enter the pump number.

Reasonable priced powered site, hot food available, Petrol, Deisel available, public toilets available and showers at a cost, friendly staff

Great place. Good fresh and hot food. Great coffee. Staff are very nice. Located conveniently on Victoria Highway. Also has an electric car recharge station

The system to pay for fuel is really confusing - you have to pay upfront $99 using a machine and then whatever you don’t fill up is returned to your account but it is not clear how - you don’t scan your card again or anything. When I enquired if the $50 I didn’t use for petrol would be returned to my account and how, the woman serving the checkout rudely snapped at me to check the sign and provided no further explanation. Pretty slack customer service and very overpriced.

Great place to stop from a days travels. Great service, great pool, stocked roadhouse with lots of fresh supplies. The pool is blue and clean.unlike the photo shared by a different customer in reviews that is the first photo you see.apparently that photo was taken just after the roadhouse opened back up after Covid closures. Recommend a stop over here. Meals available, fresh and tasty.

Stopped in just for petrol, shop was well stocked, fresh fruit & vegetables, friendly staff, shady powered sites and a nice little swimming pool.

Great little Roadhouse in the middle of nowhere, with a great little caravan park to boot. Nice grass level sites. The staff were very friendly, was nice and quiet.

This place is a small Roadhouse with a small caravan park out the back. Nothing special, but if you need to get of the road to sleep, this is a safe place. They shut the gates at night to stop the buffalo wandering in. The Roadhouse sells the basic stuff and normal food.

It's a haven in a rough neighbourhood. The staff are fantastic the price is great and it is pretty secure. They could put up nicer signs about the kids

My daughter vehicle got broken in to three times over night. Then smashed drivers door glass. Police know who these indegious youths and teenages are. But as we know they get away with it. We won't be ever stopping there for accomdation

Not safe at all, we've got stole by aboriginal kids in the camping, the fence is smached, and the gate is open 24h/7 so they can still your car easy!
The owner didn't say anything about that.

They watched us for hours, to wait the good moment to still our stuff

Super friendly staff, great coffee, excellent prices for a country road house. Nice and clean and a good selection of grocery lines.

After a long drive from Broome via Derby, the self contained room was a welcome rest spot. I must admit that the room was a bit run down, but the bed was comfy, the air conditioning cold, the shower hot and the hot plate and microwave welcome. I had a great nights sleep, my partner not so much, thinking we were to close to the highway. Her worries were unfounded, the road was very quiet after dark and the car park was well light for security. If I was travelling by myself or in the area for work, I would stay at Warmun again.

In a part of the country where road houses are leaving a lot to be desired this place is an oasis

03/08/2021 - we are on the road. 12 months - 2 kids and all that entails. Yesterday was a rough day.our jokey wheel broke, the battery terminals on the car failed and it was hot.we decided to push for about 7 hours to get closer to NT.the Saving Grace was Warmun Road House. We arrived at about 3pm.initially told no spots available- however they managed to fit us in, whilst a little old, the site was clean and we appreciated it. The Road house was easily the neatest and most well presented we have come across in our travels, the prices were really good given how remote we are and the food was hot and delicious, however, the best part was the staff, they were friendly, helpful, understanding and put us at ease. Thankyou so much for having us! FIVE STARS
