Warakurna Roadhouse reviews
30 I recently visited a corner store in my neighborhood and I have to say it was an absolute gem. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with friendly and welcoming smiles from the staff. The store had a cozy yet organized layout making it easy to find what I was looking for.
One thing that stood out to me was the wide variety of products available. Despite its small size warakkurna rd house managed to stock everything from daily essentials to gourmet snacks. I was pleasantly surprised by the impressive selection of fresh produce and locally sourced goods. It's great to see a community-focused store that supports local businesses.
Not only were the products top-notch but the prices were reasonable as well. I appreciated that they offered competitive prices especially considering the convenience of having a corner store in the neighborhood. It's the perfect place for those quick errands when you don't have time to venture to a larger supermarket.
Lastly the customer service was truly outstanding. The staff was always ready to assist with any inquiries or recommendations. They were knowledgeable about their products and even offered suggestions on new items to try. It's evident that they genuinely care about their customers and strive to provide the best shopping experience possible.
Overall this corner store exceeded my expectations in every way. It's a true gem in the neighborhood offering quality products reasonable prices and outstanding customer service. I highly recommend visiting this store and supporting their business.
Excellent service with all the essentials including sandwiches, toilets, diesel, Art Gallery and a laugh.
It's functional, good place to stay before progressing on the great outback. Note that they are on SA time, not WA.
Nice to have a shower with flat ground to park the car however at 8.30 at night we were laying in bed and two locals were trying to steal our jerry cans full of water off the back, asked them what they were doing they said they were looking for Diesel, we told them it's just water and he begged us to get out and open the fuel tank so he could get some out.
It was the first shower in a few days. Not far from N. T border. You can hear dingoes close by howling. Pretty sure they're further away than they sound. I've heard stories (cannot say if true or not) but there are 2 dingoes that pass through called Monday and Friday. IF you see any dingoes, so long as you respect their territory and space, they won't hurt you. They are wild animals, so common sense should prevail
Für eine Nacht war es okay, aber vermutlich durch Corona war der Platz nicht mehr im besten Zustand.
Good service, friendly people.
The coffee, for the price, is of poor quality it the operator requires training.
In the middle of no where. But it does the job. Powered site for caravan, and water. Showers kitchen, toilets all good. Only one bar of internet on a good day no shortage of flies.good spot to stay on the way though
Friendly helpful staff, good place for a break of driving. Good selection of icecreams, and hot food available. Nice clean toilets.
Great place to spend a night. Good clean amenities, water and power available, lovely friendly staff, well stocked supplies of fresh fruit and veg. Nice secure environment.
Great, Relaxing stop. Neat clean and great hospitality. Rooms were clean and new. Best stop on the highway.
Top place, Great Service and now has a updated Kitchen and the New Owners are looking at Upgrading the Accommodation.
Try to be Respectful at all Times. Goes along way.
Great roadhouse, we stopped off for some fuel and bite to eat and the kiddies got an ice block to cool down too! ️ Thankyou guys
This is most definitely the best road house on the great central road between Laverton and Yalara!
The staff are so friendly and make you feel very welcomed.
They have an art gallery on site to view or even purchase and they seem like just generally good people)
Unable to enter here without a face mask and I was also told we needed some other documentation. We had face masks, but didn't understand what else was required
Best service grate people love the room felt welcome when we go in to the shop best hotdogs people made me feel like im home xx
A perfectly tidy room.
(Note: room photos taken after I'd started unpacking)
Beds are small but comfortable. Kitchenette with sink and mixer tap.
Generous size shower head (not water saver head).
Tea, coffee, kettle and toaster.
Friendly and helpful staff at the roadhouse.
Would definitely recommend staying here and will stay here again for sure.
(2020 edit) Added more photos from a recent stay, this was a very spacious room (no 5).
Our stay at Warakurna Roadhouse was absolutely fantastic and no words can describe the generosity we received by Sue and John. Thank you again for all of your help and of course Charlie and Mick! We are very grateful, we hope to pass through again in the near future:) 5* Highly recommended for a great stay if your touring through the Great Central Road.
The first location for fuel on a long journey. Head on in for a bite, a drink and to appreciate the air conditioning. Ask to see the art gallery and maybe pick up a few pieces. Toilet is around the back.
Pretty primitive. Giles Met Station is very interesting. Lennie's Cat Cage grader an interesting part of Aussie history.
