Walter Day Park

Playground in Dayton with play facilities for kids, including grassed area and shelter for picnics. It is located off Arthur Street and nearby to the Dayton community centre. There's also restrooms within the park, which is always a bonus.

It's a gorgeous park with plenty for the kids to do and great bbq areas, but I took my little one today and quickly noticed that the place isn't getting any maintenance. I found a decent amount of small and big pieces of glass all throughout the sand.

Great Park & playground for little ones. Plenty of slides, swings and other fun activities for little ones. Big grass ground for young ones for activities like football.
2 BBQs, plenty of shade, for get togethers.

Best family park in Dayton. Lots of slides, play areas, and swings for kids. 2 barbecue areas make a perfect spot for family gatherings. Enough undercover area with benches to get a comfortable spot for everyone.
Lots of parking is available around the park perimeter. Easy access to Reid highway and 2 minutes drive beautiful Swan valley.

Great park for kids of all ages.
BBQ area, seats in the shade, big grass area and a wetlands. The swings aren't in the shade and it is open to roads.

Tables and benches under cover. BBQ and public toilet facilities. Plenty of bins around the park. Drink fountains and plenty of play space for children.

This park gas good quality equipment, there is multiple play areas for children of differing abilities and ages. Multiple swing sets, large grassed area. The park has lights on the paths and playground so it is possible to still use the park when the sun is not out

Small local park to bring your kids. As the locals visit here, it's a nice place to catch up with your neighborhood friends if you stay in Dayton. Nice BBQ areas.

Park for everyone not for one nationality, never take my grandson there anymore I rather travel far with others that want to share with us (aussie)

Is good for families, celebrating birthday and for children to play and safe. And BBQ CAN done.

Best place to celebrate at night lights are on now bbq is ready all the time was my niece place sadly she has passed so this is our go to place for families enjoy ppl so clean x

Nice little park. Good for the Christmas carols. Sad to see the main slide out of order. The playground is well due for a refurb.

A good community park to take your kids to. Tables can be booked for small kiddies parties or get togethers. Just be careful of some of the pathways in the park that are not fenced off on the sides. You dont want your kids to fall into the sides where there are rocks and plants

Great multi-level playground. Free bbqs. Drinking fountains. Some covered seating areas and lots of grassed areas to kick a footy.
