Waldecks Garden Centre Bentley reviews
30Why you think it is okay to use one of the Noongar six seasons as a new business name is beyond me! You are guilty of cultural appropriation. Your business name and logo suggest that your business is Indigenous (something it is clearly not) ; this is misleading and deceptive. You are using cultural intellectual property that does not belong to you! Your business will be reported to ACCC for misleading and deceptive conduct. The commercialisation of our culture is not okay! Be prepared for a court case.
We like supporting small businesses and often find unique plants and garden ornaments at Waldecks. Whilst we understand that you don't sell the quantities of plants to compete price-wise with Bunnings, we were disappointed to pay $30 for a smaller cane begonia than the one purchased at Bunnings for $13.
Its ok: Friendly staff, average size.
But the overall apperance of the outdoor area and display of plants needs improving. I also found that there wasnt a large quantity of plants available. 1 or 2 of each here and there, takes a couple of minutes to view the whole store. In comparison to other garden places this average but not bad.
Pretty big place with neat and tidy displays of fruit trees, plants, shrubs and flowers. Some native plants like kangaroo paws for sale. Large car park with many parking bays. Pretty quiet when I was there around 10am. There is a public toilet there for customers.
A convenient place to get gardening supplies. Mostly plants including lots of natives. Some hand tools but not power tools. Also have a range of mulch, compost and soil.
The staff have always been very helpful and knowledgeable when we have been there.
Super friendly and helpful staff. Nice little playground for the kids and a cafe too. Range of plants is pretty decent.
Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, a nice selection of cover and decorative pots. Some great deals hidden around and a beautiful array of shade loving plants
Was such a pleasure to buy some chilli plants the staff extremely friendly and the guy in the seedling centre very knowledgeable about what I was looking for. Highly recommended Ross
So knowledgeable and willing to pass on knowledge. Such a breath of fresh air. Cute lil coffee shop inside with Bolt Coffee
This garden centre is probably the best one I have visited in Perth so far. They have a lovely atmosphere along with lots of stunning plant selections and very friendly staff. Of all the plants I saw seemed very healthy and gorgeous! Highly recommend!
Always helpful service, nothing is too much trouble.
Definitely my fav garden centre
Helpful and friendly team. Was able to identity plants within seconds. Variety of plants and trees.
Lovely garden shop. Really good advice on the plants they stock and also really friendly staff members, who if they don't have a plant in stock at the time will contact once it's in, promptly and at a great price.
Lovely place to visit, and lovely friendly helpful people. Enjoyed a nice Hot Toastie and Coffee there also.
Amazing store & friendly staff! Great selection of indoor plants and of course the pots! I never leave this store without a new plant! Got myself a Alocasia Xanthosoma, very excited.
Very helpful staff. We went there to buy some fruit plants and ornamental pots and came away with a really nice set. And the gardeners were very helpful and said that they were happy to help if the plants didn't thrive. But they did with the soil and advice that was given. The cute little Cafe that's in there is very child friendly and has a kids play area and a very tropical feel. Worth getting a coffee there. I have nothing against bunnings but this place seemed less busy and well staffed.
Great visit. The good thing about waldecks is that the plants are out in the sun so you know they aren't going to wither up and die the minute they exposed to the sun.
Came about 3 weeks ago and got a pot for my lemon tree. The staff are fantastic and even helped us with what soil to get. Would highly recommend them. Off back again today for some more information about one of our lime trees.
Great to be able to take the kids for garden supplies! The playground and dish pond make for such a great experience!
Lovely visit, helpful staff, and a wonderful little coffee van with playground for the youngest.
