Cons
1) Was told that Hyundai recommends a 6 monthly service for my car, logbook itself and all advice from i30 facebook group says its once a year only.
2) Was then told at the 6 month service its just oil and filter change and sometimes they might not even need to change the filter, just the oil. This advice in itself is similiar to taking out poo from nappies and using the same nappy again
3) Was recommended to change brake pads and when I questioned how many MM was left, they admitted this wasnt actually measured and advice was just based on their experience (its a 5 second job to measure)
4) Service logbook was not returned to dashboard so had to make a trip back (this one is just human error and acceptable)

Pros
1) Car was washed outside AND inside to perfection, even smells nice too

Very bad treatment, the mechanic came to check the car and did not bring tools, and also made us pay for the work, he spoke to us asking us to pay him without having done anything.

Good workmanship, affordable, fair and honest. I take my prado and Prius to these guys and trust them both my cars to keep my family safe on the roads. Thanks guys

Had recently been to WA Auto for my vehicle servicing. Found them really friendly and supportive. Helped me resolve the issues swiftly.

I just got my car repairs and maintenance done at WA Auto Repairs. I really appreciated the warm gestures and service at the shop and more importantly I was relieved for the fact that I could get the job done real quick because it was an emergency. Else, I was told to wait for a month to book in and have the car looked at. In a matter of a day or two, I got the car fixed exactly the way I expected and what was beyond my expectation was that my car was serviced with care, washed and vacuumed. Would I go there again? Yes and would I recommend it to my social circle? Definitely yes.

Recently moved down to Perth and I'm required to get my car road worthy to enable me to drive here. Perfect communication through out my experience giving me up to date details on what was needed to get it done. Definitely will come back!

I highly recommend WA Auto Repairs. One Thursday night I had a problem with my car. I rung RAC and their technician said to me that my car needs to be tow-trucked to a mechanic to fix it. On Friday morning I rung WA Auto Repairs and explained to them that I worked in different locations, and I need my car fixed ASAP. They said to me to bring my car on Monday morning. I asked if I could leave my car at their workshop on Saturday and they agreed. They also gave me a rough estimation how much the repair would cost, however they said that it was hard to know the exact cost before looking at the engine. RAC dropped my car to them on Saturday. On Monday my car was fixed, and I was charged about half of the initial estimate. I was very happy with their work and honesty. I also always bring my car to them for service, and they do a great job. I recommend WA Auto Repairs. They will look after your car.

Great mechanics, highly recommend. Have had my Uber car serviced by them for almost 2 years. Never an issue, will help with anything required at short notice and always reasonably priced.

One of the worst auto workshop in Perth. The manager is very dodgy and aggressive. I took my vehicle to theirs for locking problem and 2 days later when I called them, they have left it unattended. Instead they said they cannot fix the locking problem but he said, he have done service (without asking me). When I reached there to pick up my car. They were actually washing and vacuuming my car. I doubt if they even changed engine oil and filter. Because when I called them they said they did servicing and when I reached there, they are vacuuming and washing it.
I had bad confrontation with the manager, he was aggressive and intimating. Firstly he should have informed me immediately if they cannot fix the problem (whatever the reason might be. Technicalities or manpower). Secondly he should ask me if they are going to do car servicing. They costed me $224 which is unreasonable for car servicing. Worst management please be careful.

Full replacement tyres were overdue on my car and today I had the opportunity to knock it off the to do list.

I went to Bob Janes on William street. No way, not possible to squeeze my job in that afternoon even if I left the car with them. Availability was indeterminate for another available time, coupled with sullen attitude.

I decided I would make another plan and I went local to where I live with WA Autos.

I received friendly service and advice, and was told that they would need to order in the tyres. I was at this stage committed to local service. I said I would order the tyres and pay but next week was not an option for me. The guy at WA Autos Maylands said, no, I will order them now and fit them this afternoon. A stark contrast to the Bob Jane experience.

As I was leaving to go home and leave the car behind, the Heavens opened up and it was pouring with rain. The guy at WA Autos offered to have me dropped home and picked up when the car was ready.

The cost of the tyres was every bit as good as what Bob could offer, and I couldn’t believe the service I received.

Long review I know, but I stumbled into supporting local by accident, and in future I will go local especially when the big franchises are not offering the service that I received from WA Autos.

Great job, great price, great service. Unlike me, Make your local enterprise your first choice and you will be pleasantly surprised. That will be my personal change going forward.

I cannot recommend WA AUTO REPAIRS enough! These guys are very kind and honest, this is coming from a backpacker who are notoriously ripped off by garages.
These guys helped me find the best cost effective solution for my car.
