Virasat Indian Restaurant

Probably my favourite Indian restaurant in Perth, highly recommend, have not been disappointed yet.

The food is good but the service is horrible.

I have been a customer of Virasat for the past 10 years now. I don't know if owners have changed but I have been there on multiple occasions, even when they were completely empty on Friday nights because the food was good but now they act like they are too big for their britches.

The lady at the reception is extremely rude. She interrupted me abruptly on numerous times while I was ordering. She was loud unfriendly, both on the phone and in person. I was told it would take 45 minutes for my order to be ready. I got there at 50 minutes just in case. She looked for my food for god knows how long before going into the kitchen and came back without telling me anything. 10 minutes later they come out with my drinks then tell me that its going to be a bit longer because they are waiting for the Naan bread.

I waited half an hour to get the bread. Recipes for naan bread at home say it is 25 minutes when you start from scratch. No apologies, no explanation. I had to wait 1.5 hours for my food in total.

My family buys food there every week. We are a big family so its over $130 every week. I have half a mind to start looking elsewhere.

Food is very good, naan bread is perfect. Customer service could use improving staff are friendly enough but unprofessional.

Brilliant food and atmosphere. The butter chicken was beef madras was incredible. Loved that we could choose how spicy it was.

BLUNDER. Food is literally swimmmiiinnngggg in the oil, it's drinking oil with Bits of food, Disgusting.

Cannot complain about the food.
I have ordered through their app for about a year but the last 4 times it's taken over 2 hrs to come. Not good

Best Indian in Rockingham and highly recommend dining in. Portions are generous and the menu is great with so many options, including a large vegetation section. You can choose your protein and spice level on most dishes as well which is great (they do serve beef).
They can get very busy and there's usually a stream of takeaway and delivery going out the door.

I'm not complaining about food, food always nice there but service very slow
today I ordered @ 5: 50pm for pick up @ 7: 30pm but food still not ready even at 7: 45pm

I ordered on menulog to pay on delivery. Waited 30 past expected delivery time and rang the restaurant, was told the delivery had left and will be with me in 5 minutes. Waited another 30 minutes and still no delivery, tried to ring restaurant back and line busy and unable to contact them. Waited another hour and still nothing. Decided to order elsewhere coz at this stage we were starving. Never again

Waited over 1 hr to get served. The experience wasn't the best. Food wasn't exceptional either. I normally don't write reviews, but I had to share this

I love Indian curry, what’s more I love Virasat Indian curries the most!

When I asked for an extremely hot vindaloo that is exactly what I got. The curries here are so tasty and they are very generous! Real value for money. Oh did I mention the garlic naans? So moist and tasty! We are so lucky to have such good quality curry locally!

Shocked at all the good reviews for this place.
Service is ridiculously slow, preference given to Uber/pickup orders.
Waited 35 minutes for a basic entree to arrive, then another ridiculously long wait before mains arrived. Butter chicken was dry and bland. Naan bread was oily and inedible. Had to request water twice. Atmosphere of disorganised chaos.

Just had dinner tonight and I must say, hands down- one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to! The portion size was big, fresh and delicious! And also THANK YOU to the staff, you were so friendly and extremely good customer service! Will definitely return.

Had our first meal tonight, have lived in Rockingham 52 years tried different places, after seeing lots of post on Facebook about this restaurant, tried it tonight amazing, my wife said goat curry was amazing, thanks for great flavours will be back again and again

Have ordered a couple times the food is good can’t fault that.
But was told 35 mins wait and almost 1 hour wait later food was ready.
Got home & the order was wrong.not the end of the world but hate paying for something you’re not getting.

The food was amazing no long waits. Loved it my whole family was nibbling away! Great food and restraunt! Bravo

Very delicious food. We've tried a lot of different things on their menu and it's all delicious! Once again we were let down by one of the food delivery apps, but one of the staff from Virasat delivered our food for us! They didn't have to do this, they could have just let it sit there for an hour until a delivery driver decided it was worth the effort. Whenever we feel like curry we go straight to Virasat.

Loved the food ordered at 4.30p.m for a 6.00pm came 45mins late and we only live 3 minutes around the corner Safety Bay Road to Waikki Road.mmmmm not good, + had to put food in the over for a re- heat.

A friend and I went to this restaurant last night. I had the Makai kofta and my friend had the Chili Paneer. We both had the best garlic, cheese naan bread I have ever had! The food was superb and service very attentive and friendly. This is my favourite Indian restaurant. It is really a hidden gem in Shoalwater. A special shout out to the friendly kid waiting on us.
