Vinnies Port Kennedy reviews
9I've been to every Vinnie's and most op shops in Perth and surrounding areas and this is not only the Worst Vinnie's I have seen, but probably the worst Op Shop Full stop, very overpriced. Charging more for brands second hand then Kmart sell brand new. Old lady in there is very rude, I spent over $100 in there and I asked for $2 off a heavily stained Nike shirt and she very bluntly said no! Anything that's a decent brand is at least $10. Mens Section is one of the most over stocked in a Vinnie's I have seen, you would think they would realise that it's because no one is buying because it's so overpriced.
I love vinnies in general. They're all well priced and are always clean and colourful. This one is exactly that too.
Friendly helpful staff. Lots of ladies plus size clothing casual - formal.
Clean & organised.
The half price rack is regularly updated with lots of great bargains.
Vinnies Port Kennedy is no longer open on Sundays
Regular trading hours are on the website:)
RUDE & NASTY STAFF! Angered beyond disbelief when a staff member told my 5yr cousin today “I can be the boss of you & I will kick you out my store”. He did NOTHING wrong! ALL he did was ask his 3yr sister NOT to touch items near the counter! He was told via this lady “Do not be mean to your sister” to which he replied “I’m her older brother”. This lady then again replied aggressively, with “I don’t care”, followed up by “I can be the boss of you…”.
These children have just left DV! We were shopping for them as they have arrived with little and after all of that, the marbles he had given her & purchased were purposely “forgotten” from our bag! Not only forgotten but we had to RE-PAY for them costing us a total of $16 JUST FOR MARBLES!
Customer service? Non!
Lovely friendly staff, place is set out well & clean & priced are great.my favourite s/ hand store.
Collin is an amazing manager, so nice and friendly. The volunteers are lovely. Prices are great, store is nice and clean. Found some good stuff. Keep it up.
Whoever is managing this store needs to have a browse through the Salvos and Good Samny’s just down the road! A simple and small napkin/table runner is $7! Who do you think shops there? An old 70’s stool is $20! A glass shelf is $100! We go there for a REASON! We can buy this stuff cheaper at Kmart, BigW and even Target! You’re an op-shop not Myer or Grace Brothers! Wake up to yourself! Your own staff send us to the Salvos because they’re so sick and tired of customers complaining about how expensive you are and the fact that you just DON’T LISTEN! I’ve really tried to be a loyal customer, but your store is just WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!
It's not a bad store, though their selection is mostly just clothing - and they ask as-new prices.
