Vinnies Mount Hawthorn reviews
11I have been here numerous times and the ladies here are always very polite and friendly! They do an excellent job displaying the items and and it looks clean and welcoming. A pleasure to browse through. Thank you!
Overpriced. Not a great selection of men's clothes. A lot of the stuff looked haggard. I wondered if the clothes would be better cut up and put in a bag of rags for a tradie to use. This place smelled bad, even for an op shop. The volunteers / staff seemed to have a very high opinion of themselves. It seemed odd, because they are working in an op shop, not in Harrods.
This is better than a boutique! All the clothes you could want. Vast (really vast!) array of jeans and designer tops. Casual, formal dresses and a selection of tasteful wedding dresses too. Everything is neat and the staff a super kind. Highly recommend if your wardrobe needs a boost. There's not a lot of homewares or entertainment materials like dvds etc. But there is a little for everyone if you're bringing the family on your shopping trip
Super well organised and easy to navigate, with a lot of diversity in product. My go-to for costumes as well as cheap staples for my wardrobe
I visit lots of second hand shops. This is clean and there is quite a variety of clothes, but quite overpriced! Man's shirts are double if not more, the price I pay in other stores, similar quality and brands. Some items, like kitchen things, cheaper in stores!
Nice and tidy shop. But definitely over priced. You can definitely get some designer items at the fraction of the price. However the items are still worn out and not worth the high prices. Not very motivating to shop second hand too when prices are soo high. Definitely other op shops around that have items prices more reasonably.
Great store merchandising and volume of inventory. However, items are awfully overpriced here. I regularly shop second hand stores for the ‘opportunity’ to buy clothing at affordable prices. But I found this store has bumped up prices on low quality fast fashion items. Selling them more than what they would usually retail for. Not value for money for people on a tight income who need clothes.
I was pleased to pick up a few items here. The store is quite small, boutique style. The prices are reasonable, although a tad high at times. The real gem of this store is a lady named Claire, who was such a terrific help and a very kind person to boot. Claire, this store is very blessed to have you. Thanks and Regards. Mark.
Designer gear at a fraction of retail, I have found some fantastic fashion pieces here, designer labels one off's and unique looking fashions. Not everybody will appreciate it, I get that but I simply won't shop for clothes anywhere else now
Total overhaul, now a true boutique with not a trace of "op shop". Worthy of its Mt Hawthorn location, is full of genuine labels and 1/2 is European clothing, no nasty Millers or discount rags.
This Vinnies is in the heart of Mt Hawthorn shopping strip so undestandable the prices are higher. Still a fraction of cost of many items if they were new but some things definitely priced wrong. Like Ikea slippers priced more than at Ikea. Definitely still worth a look if you are in the area, and neat and well organised. All books were $2 which is very reasonable.
